Description: She is a hardworking girl. No matter what she does, she gives it her 100% all. She does not tolerate half-done work from anyone (except from her seniors, of course). She gives her uttermost respect to her seniors and anyone older from her (except mean people). She tends to ignore everything bad happening around her and try not to get involved with other people’s business. She doesn’t like asking people for help, thinking it’s a waste of time bothering other people and usually try to sole her problems her own way.

 

Usually, she is a cheerful girl. She believes anything people tells her, which sometimes lead her into getting prank at when in school. She is very clumsy as well, sometimes tripping over her own two feet and getting hurt easily. Despise what everyone thinks of her, she is not very well organized. Besides that fact, she wants everything to be as perfect as it can be. She can get frustrated easily when things doesn’t go right.

Character History: So was born into a family of farmers in a small village in Hue, Vietnam. She started to help her family around the age of 5. Since they work in the fields in the rice paddies, they don’t make a lot of money. Still, her family manages to earn enough money to send her to school. Since she’s an only child, they don’t have to worry about sending someone else to school. She works at the field with her parents in the morning and goes to school later in the afternoon. When she comes home, she continues to work in the rice paddies until it was dark outside. She then proceeds to helping her mother cook dinner and other chores. Once everything was done for the day, she studies hard while her parents give her lesson on Korean and Vietnamese. That was basically her routine for a while, work, school, work, study.

 

During her freshman year of high school, her aunt and uncle, who lives in Seoul, South Korea, came to visit. They offer Minki the opportunity to live with them, going to school in South Korea, Her parents thinks its great idea, considering she is half Korean, but she was very reluctant. At first, she refused, not wanting to leave her parents alone to work. It took them a while to change her mind, which somehow they did. Her parents force her to move to Korea with her aunt and uncle. She was an outcast. Seeing the tall buildings, more cars in the streets than usual, everything was different to her. She didn’t like it one bit. School wasn’t as good for her as well. People ; calling her a farm girl and that she didn’t belong there. She ignored all of them, thinking it’s a waste of time to get involved with people.

 

During her free time, her aunt taught her how to dance and sing. She works at a small dance academy. She started to listen to the pop music, envying everything about them. Their voice, their bodies, their talent, everything. Her aunt thought her the latest dance routines she teaches her students and sometimes gives her vocal lessons. She graduated high school soon and helps teach the students in the dance academy with her aunt and sometimes work in the bakery her uncle own.

 

Family: Father – Mai, Minh: In his late 40’s, farmer. He is very strict always wants you to be at the top, pushes you to be your best at everything. Besides that, he is actually a pretty funny man to be around with.

 

Mother – Choi, Minyoung: In her mid 40’s, farmer. A caring women who loves you deeply. She’s always the one who tells Minh to loosen up for Minki. She is strict at time as well, but not all the time.  

 

Aunt – Choi, Hei Ryung: In her mid 30’s, teacher of a dance academy. She is a stubborn women, once she gets her mind set on something, she would never change it. She cares for you like you’re her own daughter, which is currently in England. A very cheerful person indeed.

 

Uncle – Park DaeHo: In his mid 30’s, owns a bakery that is popular amongst the youth. He loves to tease you, a lot. Like everyone else in her family, he is very hard working. He doesn’t joke around a lot but when he does, he makes the atmosphere awkward. He is sometimes cocky as well, bragging about his niece. Together with Hei Ryung, they persuades you to audition.

Audition Story: At first, she didn’t want to audition. She just wanted to live a normal life with her aunt and uncle. They force her to, however. About a couple of months before the audition, they trained her hard. She took with few complaints, however. She auditioned normally like everyone else, but she didn’t make it. Instead of giving up, she tried again. This time, she got accepted.

Training Story: She didn’t agreed to the fact that she got accepted at first. Yes, she work hard like everyone else but her mind wasn’t there focusing. She often wonder about her parents in Vietnam, thinking that she can’t help them often if she became famous. One day, she got a letter from her parents, stating that she isn’t doing anything wrong and that they would continue to support her no matter what. After that day, she worked twice as hard.

Trained For: Singing and Dancing.

According to the members, he is VERY shy around girls, not even holding her hand when they’re alone! He is very gullible, often on the receiving end of pranks. He is also a total crybaby.

 

Lee Sungmin [Super Junior] – The Pumpkin King of Super Junior. The man who loves pink, he is so adorable. Too adorable, if I must say. When you first look at him, you could never guess that he is very good at Chinese Martial Arts. His cuteness is just plain natural. Basically, everything about him is adorable.

 

Kim Joong-Woon (Yesung) [Super Junior] – The Art-Like Voice in Super Junior. The man who talks a lot and gets cut out of variety shows. Very talented singer indeed.  He has a weird habit of touching people’s lips when their sleeping and switch beds every 20 minutes. He has three pet turtles and use to collect bugs when he was younger!
