Park Chanyeol

At age 5, Chanyeol started melting crayons with fire. 
He loved watching the candles being reduced into a mess of colourful goo, and all he had to do was simply make fire.
It can be a huge ball of fire resting on his palm, or it can just be a harmless speck of flame (usually the case when he uses only his tiny fingers), but as long as he wanted to, he can easily make fire appear out of himself.

Once he got bored of candles, he started experimenting on other things; unimportant and insignificant things like the toy cars that his parents gave him for Christmas. He didn’t really like toys, he preferred burning them.
His parents had never asked him where his toys went, they would only ask if he wanted more, but little did they know.

At age 7, Chanyeol had accidentally burnt his pet guinea pig to death, while playing with it. His pet guinea pig wasn’t something that can replaced in his heart, and he understood that death meant losing it forever. He cried for days, and that was when his parents discovered that their little Chanyeol was different.
They decided to move to somewhere far... without him. “We’ll come back,” they lied. He believed them with his entire being, of course.

Days and months had passed. Chanyeol wonders every single day without fail, why isn’t his favourite mummy and daddy coming back? Did someone else burn them just like how he had accidentally burnt his pet guinea pig?

If not… why does it seem like he had lost them forever?

When strangers came to the house telling him that his house had to be taken away, Chanyeol locked himself up in the room, yelling, “Mommy and daddy said that they will come back! Chanyeol doesn’t want to leave!”

However, when the door opened from the outside, all Chanyeol could do was retreat to a corner. He stared at the two tall strangers who kept telling him that ‘it’s okay’ with his huge, round eyes. He resisted and refused to follow them.

One of them stepped forward, and Chanyeol’s wailed louder. He had never felt so threatened or vulnerable before in his life.

And the next thing he knew, the entire room is set ablaze; brighter than he's ever seen.
