Personality:

Suyou, is a very reserved girl. But probably, she wouldn't have been like that if the situation hadn't turned in a particular way:

Shy. Suyou has always been a really shy girl. Since childhood she struggled more than the other kids to make friends with someone. When she talks  she stutters and she doesn't like being at the center of the attention. She is more the type of girl who would try to walk and move silently in order for others to not notice about her presence. And that happened most of the times when she was little. The kids in the kindergarten didn't know her name and she contributed to that by hiding in places where no one was around, playing by herself.

Insecure. Being shy, also brings her to be insecure. She always thinks a lot before doing a particular action or simply before talking, that's because she is never sure about what she does. She fears other people's judgement about her and she fears the consequences of her actions. So she usually tries to refrain herself from doing something that could make her do a "mistake". But still, these sides of her character are only given if considered her family life.

Diversity. The situation got worse when she founf out about her "powers". She got really scared because of her particular abilities and she tried to hide it. How? Simply not going out of her home, except for school. Being insecure as she was and hearing always her sister teasing her has always made her thought that people wouldn't have accepted her particular abilities and moreover, being a "monster" - as she called herself - didn't help to hide from the society attention.

Stress & Anxiety. The most relevant cause of Suyou strange personality is her family. Her step-parents always compared her to her beautiful, pretty, smart step-sister. So Suyou is always anxious about what she does and how she does it, because she fear a negative judgement by her step-parents - who, anyways, doesn't care at all if she does well and are always ready to do negative remarks -. So even when she is with other people and they ask her to do something, she fears the outcome and she tries to do everything in the best way possible.

Burden. Moreover her parents - who know together with her step-sister about her powers - always highlight the fact that she is a real burden for them and it would have been better if she wasn't there. While, her step-parents didn't say this openly but expressed it through their cold expressions and words, her step-sister always made it obvious and explicit that she had never liked her and that she would have never done.

Strength & Apathy. With the passing of time, however, Suyou got rather used to her "family"'s behaviour and became rather indifferent to her sister's remarks. Of course she still suffered a lot but she learnt how to hide it really well with her typical "blank" face. When someone badmouths her, she simply thinks about something else in order for her ears not to be concentrated. However she is able to endure all of this because of  Sunyeong.  Sunyeong is her deskmate at school, and even though at first Suyou didn't want to talk with her...it was rather a mission impossible since  Sunyeong was said to be able to talk even to plants and stones. Not in the literal meaning, but simply to highlight the fact that she was always talking non-stop and even the most gloomy, blank-face girl in the school would have eventually gave up with her. And that's what Suyou did. However soon she started to enjoy her time with her and started to take part in club activities in school so that she could be more time with her and less time with her family. So she always thinks that if it wasn't for  Sunyeong she would have been lost by now.

Daydreamer & Romaticist. One of the tecniques Suyou uses when she doesn't want to hear her family or other people remarks or simply when she doesn't want to think about her particular family relationships, she lets her mind wander. She does it pretty often, even when she is at school and she likes to dream about what life would have been if she was born as  Sunyeong sister, loved by her parents, without a step-sister who was perfect in everything she did, without powers to hide exc... Soon then she started to dream about the prince charming, what would have been having a boyfriend, imagining endless dates, little nothings exc... Since she had always been an "outcast", since childhood she prefered to be at home reading, instead that out under other people's eyes. So she always read a lot, especially romantic novels and love stories, then when she met  Sunyeong who had the passion for writing, and reading as well, the situation even got worse than before.

Gentle & Kind. Suyou has really a sweet character even tough she can't fully express it because of her family, however  Sunyeong who knows her well, knows how Suyou is in reality and what everyone has missed about her personality. She is a cute girl, dorky at times, who blushes when near a pretty boy.

• she has been adopted when she was 5 eyars old. She doesn't know who her real parents are, if they are still alive or why they choose to abandon her, but she wants to find out in order to understand her own powers;

Special abilities: Omnilingualism & Precognition.

How did you discover your power: Since she has memory, she has always had strange nightmares. Usually people dream about surreal things or if they dream about other people they now still the situations are occurring cannot repeat themselves in reality. However the situation is different for Suyou. She's always dreamt about people, especially her family and her schoolmates, but also the people she encountered during the day such as the ajhumma at the market exc...and she would always dream about them doing normal things, such as her father going to work and receiving a task or her sister getting a good grade on her test. But then she started to dream about people which she had never met, some of them still did normal things, but other were victims of murders, accidents. As she grew up the number of "nightmares" would increase, thus she practically spent nights without sleeping. At first she didn't think that they would have been "precognitions" of what would have happened but then she started to aknowledge the fact that everything she dreamt then it would happen in reality...even when she dreamt about people she had never seen before then she would find their faces on the news. That was when she started to be afraid of her "power". Moreover she couldn't decide whose future she would have dreamt of, she couldn't control her own power...or probably she needed training for it. But being in that particular family in which she only had powers naturally didn't help at all. But the turning point was after a particular happening: she was going home with the taxy since she was late for dinner at home and she didn't want to listen to her step-mother nagging, so she asked to the driver of the taxi cab to accelerate. It was snowing outside and the ice got stuck on the concrete of the street, so mantaining the car stable was really a difficult task to do. The taxi driver didn't see a bus coming the other way and he turned too fast, making the car turn on herself and then stop at the centre of the street. Fortunately there weren't profound injuries, but Suyou hit her head really hard on the inner part of the taxi door. She adviced her family and went to the hospital, thanks to the ambulance who had rushed over after being alerted of the crash. She only got a lump on her forehead, but after that something particular happened. She had always had a predisposition for foreign languages, those were the only subjects in which she always went well without putting a lot of effort into it, but still she couldn't explain to herself why after of that particular accident she started to dream also in other languages and she understood everything of it. Also her precognition increased and she started to have "foggy moments" - as she called them - which were particular moment in which her sight blurred like if there was a thick layer of fog in front of it and she saw fast images - probably other precognitions -. Curious of her "multilingual dreams", an afternoon when her parents weren't home and er sister was out with her friends, she took the remote control and went to a French Channel. If she concentrated a lot, she could understand pretty everything of what they were saying. But she thought that maybe she had simply improved since she already studied French in school. But then she moved to the next channel, an Italian one. She had never learnt that language and she didn't know a word of it except for pasta and spaghetti, so when she changed the channel and concentrated on what the girl on the tvnews was saying, she slowly understood what she was saying. From then on she started to train her omnilingualism power. In fact, she didn't know what to do with the precognition one, but with the other she had understood that more and more she heard people talking in other languages, more and more she could understand them easily and also speak easily.

Back-up special abilities: Telepathy & Animal Control.

How did you discover your power: She has always had the capability to understand what were other people's thoughts, but she never thought that she could also transfer her voice in other people's minds. It all happened when a day was going back home, a boy was playing with his friends and he crossed the street, in attempt to escape from them. But a car was driving at all speed, she saw the machine coming and before she could even understand how she had done it she had already told with her mind to go back to the sidewalk, in order to save him. There was no accident that day, but she understood that she could also communicate through thoughts. However as much as she tried to, she never successed another time, so she has started to think that she could communicate with others only in dangerous situations in which her mind didn't have the time to think and her power acted because of instinct. She had studied somewhere in filosofy that "instinct" is stronger than "reason" and now she was starting to understand why. Then she thought that if she couldn't communicate with human beings, which had the most complex brain she should have tried with animals beforehand, and from that moment on she understood that not only she could read other people's mind, but the communication which came difficult with human beings, was much easier with animals and she could easily make them do what she wanted to.

Closeness:

Step-father: Suyou doesn't talk with her step-father Ji Hoon and he acts the same way. He doesn't say anything against her, but simply he doesn't care about anything. If Suyou had to choose between her parents, she would have chosen him, only because he lets her live her life without interfering in it.

Step-mother: She wants too much from Suyou. She adores her real daughter Sooyoung and simply she cannot compare the two daughters. However she also doesn't like the fact that she has to look after a daughter which isn't her real daughter. In fact, she adopted her only because like that her public figure would have raised because of her "great deed".

Closeness:

She is miss perfection. Everyone searches her, everyone wants her, everyone praises her because she is beautiful, rich and smart. Of course, the praises are a given since she really is an hard-working person and everything she gets, she gets it because she worked hard for it. But, for some odd reason she has never liked Suyou, probably because she isn't her real sister and also because she sees how her mother treats her and she learnt from her. However she is more explicit when teasing or treating her badly. She usually forces her to do what she doesn't want to and she threatens her if she doesn't want to. She is secretely envious of her powers, but she pretends to be disgusted by them and finds them another justification to insult her.

Personality: Always cheerful and happy she is the exact contrary of Suyou. She is gloomy and she is bright, she is silent and she is loud. However as they say opposites do attract and Sunyeong, who likes to be called Luna by her friends, has always been interested in Suyou. She wanted to become her friends bu it seemed really difficult to break the wall Suyou built between her and other people. However when she was given the opportunity to sit near Suyou at school, she got the chance to talk with her. She is really stubborn and determined, so when she decided to become Suyou's friend, then she would have naturally successed. There are no words such as "failure", "to lose" in her vocabulary. She is also really an outspoken girl, she simply says out what she thinks without giving much importance to it, but still she always knows the good words to say in every situation. Also she has always the same smile plastered on her face. She likes to read and write like Suyou and she would have liked to have a sister like her. She knows about Suyou powers but she doesn't care at all, because she thinks that Suyou remains still Suyou.

Rival: Her sister, Su Young. Suyou doesn't care a lot about her, but Suyoung envies her for her powers and also doesn't like the fact that she lives in her house when really she isn't her sister but only an adopted girl.

Love Interest: Do Kyung Soo (도경수)

Personality: Kyungsoo is usually quiet and shy, he is rather thoughtful and he usually tries to solve his friends' problems. That's why he got the nickname of "umma", because he likes to look after his friends and to protect them. He is intelligent and really nice and caring, but he tries to hide these traits of his personality when he is with people he doesn't know, since they could think that they can take an advantage of him because of his "gentle" personality. So with strangers he usually is silent and he has a cold expression on, while with his friends he likes to joke around - even though he still is really quiet - and he smiles a lot. He is also really cute, but he doesn't do aegyo or other things like that...simply he is born with it, and everything action he does makes him really cute. All in all, he is a nice guy, a little bit overprotective and awkward when it comes to relationship or simply when he is with the girl he likes. He blushes a lot but still he can control his emotions really well.

How do you act with one another: Suyou, as usual, tries to be her indifferent self even though he attracts her because of his kind actions which remind her of the prince charming she always read about. She feels rather awkward with him, also because he is extremely protective with her and she  has mixed feelings about this: on one side, she likes that there's someone who genuinely cares about her, on the other side however, she deosn't like to be at the center of his attention. She is always afraid to do something wrong that would make him go away from her and so she stutters a lot, fearing of saying something wrong, and she doesn't do something unless it is necessary. He, on the other hand, doesn't know why but from the first moment he knew that he wanted to take care of her. At first he thought it was out of pity...but then he understood that pity doesn't make your hearbeat quicken so much and it doesn't make you stutter or your cheeks burn red, so naturally what he felt for her was another feeling known as love. However he doesn't know how to express it to her, because he tries to be caring and all but more he does, more she gets distant and so he is starting to get a little too stressed because of that.

 

Back-up Love Interest: Kim Joon Myeon (김준면)

Personality: Loving and caring, he always tries to have the situation under control. He doesn't like to lie, but he does it if it helps to adjust the situation. He is really attentive and precise in everything he does and he thinks that everyone has his own "happy ever after", so he doesn't like gloomy people, who don't care about their lives. Sometimes he can be a little stubborn.

How do you act with one another: When he first saw her, he knew from her face that she hadn't had a normal life. He wanted to help her, to give her her own "happy ever after" but she always tried to get away from him. She is always reserved as usual, so it's really difficult to talk with her.

Suggestions: Nothing much...uhm...but Suyou doesn't smile so much, so you could put a scene in which she smiles to Kyungsoo/Suho because they've done something for her. And also a kiss...well it was pretty normal to ask that c:
