What's your species like?

Winter sprites are mischievous and tend to cause trouble wherever they go. They don't have wars with other species(they find it petty and would rather have fun) but they do make enemy's, sometimes because they pranked the wrong person, or made the wrong person angry. On a sprites first birthday they are set before a selection of objects and the object they choose is their lifeline. With out it their power will start to fade, and eventually they will die. They protect this object with their life.They age extremely slow compared to other races, and they are immortal, but they can be killed. They are very carefree people, and sometimes looked down upon because of that.The only thing they are serious about is winter, each sprite has their duty to bring it. ie. frost painter, snowflake maker, ice maker. When they reach "adult hood" they become an apprentice and train until they are ready to join the ranks.

Xue grew up in the northern part of China, where it is winter almost all of the time. Her family was always busy so she sometimes felt ignored.Most humans can't see winter sprites, so she felt even more lonely. She would make up for it by playing-using her powers- with the other kids, even though they couldn't see her.She's the only child in her family to get into the school, thus making her parents very proud of her(and pay more attention to her)

Describe your personality:

Xue is a typical winter sprite; fun, carefree, sly, mischievous, sarcastic, and outspoken. On top of that she's also observant, and empathetic. She understands more then she lets on. She's a great people person, though she only has a few friends. She doesn't trust many people, but the ones she does she trusts with her life.She'll put them before herself, even if it means death.She loves to play tricks on people and doesn't like authority figures, she'll rebel even if she doesn't mean to. To her, respect is earned and a privilege, throw it away and your dead to her.

She carries around a Staff, it's her lifeline.
