I really Wonder....

I really wonder sometimes if my writing is as good as people says.

I'm not bragging or trying to be arrogant here, but, alot of people had said that my writing is quite good and stuff like that.

And, I do think that my writing is not bad.

But, really, is it as good as I thought?

Because someone (I'm not mentioning names) has a super lousy grammar and vocab, but yet she has so much more subs than I do. 

And, my subs are increasing but people don't comment as much. It really makes me doubt myself alot, is my writing getting worser and so you don't want to comment? 

I know I should be contented that people are actually reading what I write, but, really, I work hard towards all my fics and my subs are like so much worse than those who have lousier english standards than me. 

It's not about the subs but I really love writing and I want honest opinions, 

Is my writing really that good?

Because the response doesn't say that it is...

Okay see, here on AFF, alot of people don't really care if the grammar and vocabulary of a writer is good. Honestly, alot of people subscribe to terrible grammar fics mostly because they like the storyline and their bias is in there. Personally, I don't like reading horrible fics (in the grammar sense) as you know. I'm really selective in my reading ._. so if a person has more subs than you, it does not mean his/her writing is better. so don't worry and cheer up! And if you like writing, subs and comments do not matter, what matters is that you are doing the thing you love:)
P.S if you really want to get feedback why not request from request shops? Many people offer their services as a reviewer :) I think MusicChibi is one of the good ones :D

I'm a silent reader:p I don't really comment on a fic unless I have the mood...
And nowadays I havent been bothered to read updated fics cus I'm so busy with exams!!
And I don't even bother to update... No wonder I have so little subs.
Anyways, you DO write well. Can assure that. :D I only read good fics(: lol

Look unnie. You can't say that. Maybe her plot are better or anything. But seriously? I won't read it if the grammars are wrong all the way. Doesn't matter if the plot are amazing or whatever. It's not important. The grammars are what important. And you should never doubt yourself. That's your story and your way of writing. People can't change that except you. And you're good. Really good. I'm not just saying this to make you happy. It's the truth. So whatever they said to you, be confident on your writing! Unnie fighting!

There are generally a few reasons for this:
1) The stories with more subbies have their main characters as the more 'popular' idols.
2) Their story ideas are more unique (not to say yours isn't but there are some really unique ideas out there)
3) The authors are more established/well-known in the fanfiction community.

Not every reason is due to the fact that the authors have a good command of vocabulary and good in language but still you should never give up. With time you'll be really good and popular and have a lot of subscribers! Fighting!

Yesyes, I know people that have worse english standards than yours, but sometimes they have more subbies than you do...
Perhaps it is cuz their bias is in there..
Maybe the subscribers are too lazy to comment or perhaps you didn't reply to their comments?
That happened to me before, so I decided stop commenting there but I continue to read it.
Just stay positive, unnie.
