Jooyeon is a cheerful girl. Although her friends say she's a bit bipolar because she can have alot of mood swings. Let's see hergood side first. Well, she's like other teenage girls who loves to go out with their friends, have fun and fool around. Although she may seem a little too happy for her own good, you can still talk to her if you have problems. For an 18-year old girl who may seem a bit childish at times, she has lots of thoughts and helpful advices that will surely help you with your problems. 

Although she's not the youngest in the group, she's sometimes considered as the most innocent one in the group. Sometimes, she's mistaken as the maknae because she's partly innocent about things for example Foods, Cultures, something about Korea. There are also some words that's still not in her Korean vocabulary because she grew up in the Philippines. Another reason is because she's baby faced.

Like I said, she grew up in the Philippines. So she may have adapted their traits like being hospitable, caring and has the love for cooking and of course eating. 

Now, to her not-so-good side. Well, this side, is kinda creepy. She's childish and likes to have fun so she pretty muchlikes to pull pranks on her co-members. Don't be too fooled about her innocent face though. You know, she can eat a lemon and remain expressionless and say "It's not sour... It's actually surprisingly sweet." just to make you eat one. You can say she's a good actress.

She hates it when she's woken up by annoying sounds like cookwares and dogs who are barking non-stop. When this is the way her day starts, expect an ill-tempered Park Jooyeon. She's going to be sarcastic, easily annoyed and moody for the rest of the day. So be careful on how you wake her up. 

Now on her bad side. Dude, never cross this line. If you did, you might regret doing so. Yes, she's very cheerful, kinda dorky, childish, innocent and all but that doesn't mean she doesn't get mad. She's a freaking human too so probably, she has  feelings. One of the things she dislikes are her friends talking bad things about her which is not true behind her back. But the worst that completely transforms her is when you mess, hurt or did something unforgivable for someone she cares for. She's pretty sensitive when it comes to the people who mean alot to her. She once said, "You mess with me, I'm fine with it. You mess with the people I love, you'll regret it."

Jooyeon was born in Busan, South Korea but when she was just 2 months old, their family moved to Phlippines due to business reasons. Jooyeon and her family lived there for 11 years. During their stay in Philippines, Joo's older sister, Sandara, or better known as Dara, became a part of a tv show called Star Circle Quest. And she won 2nd place. When Dara won, she became fanous for her energetic and cheerful personality.  Dara had movies like “D’ Lucky Ones” where Jooyeon appeared as a cameo together with Sanghyun or Cheondung.  Jooyeon also became a part of a show in the Philippines called “Goin’ Bulilit”. It’s a kid comedy show  where they  tell all kinds of jokes and sketches. But she had to leave because the Park family will have to move back to Korea because Dara became a trainee in YG entertainment.

Park Jooyeon is born in Busan, South Korea. But when she was just 10 months old, her family moved to thePhilippines because of their business. She grew up in Manila together with her older siblings Sandara and Sanghyun. Also known as Dara and Thunder. Their family was a normal one but their parents are busy most of the time. The three siblings are very close to each other. Well, Dara and Thunder acting like parents to Joo when their parents are not around.  Well, the things they do when they're alone in their house are teasing each other, singing, dancing, rapping, playing around, having tickle fights etc. The Park siblings really like to have fun.

In 2004, Sandara auditioned in the show "Star Circle Quest" (SCQ). She was part of the top 3 and immediately became an actress due to her fun, cheerful and energetic personality. Their parents were very proud of her and they talk about her alot. Soon, the Park family moved back to Korea due to business issues again and because Sandara is now a trainee in YG. Soon, Sanghyun is also to debut as a member of MBLAQ. Jooyeon wanted to become an idol too. But her parents told her she's too young and she can't handle the training sessions. But Jooyeon wanted to prove her parents that she's old enough to take care of herself.

She joined different talent competitions in Busan. Then, there's this singing competition that looks so grand. But Jooyeon didn't care. She signed up and she saw she was going to perform after this guy named "Jung Daehyun" . The MCs now called Daehyun and he started to sing. Jooyeon can't help but to stare at the owner of the beautiful voice.*Hmm,, he looks pretty familiar* Jooyeon thought. Then it hit her. He was their neighbor and he was also her quiet classmate. Soon, Daehyun finished singing and she was called in the stage. Jooyeon went to the stage confidently and sang her heart out. Daehyun also recognized her so when she was done singing, he immediately approached her. They had a little chitchat but they were interrupted when a middle aged man approached them. He said he's ascouting agent in TS Entertainment. He asked the kids if they wanted to be trainees. They agreed of course. 

Daehyun and Jooyeon went home together since they were neighbors. Well, they became close friends in an instant. Jooyeon waved goodbye to Daehyun as he did the same. Jooyeon immediately told her parents that she was scouted. Her parents hesitated but they soon realized that she really is old enough to take care of herself. But they were sad that their "little baby princess" is growing up so fast. And there goes their dramatic moments LOL

Sanghyun or Cheondung/Thunder is a sweet guy that seems to have the "Prince Syndrome". He is always the odd one out of everything, but that is what makes him unique. The listed his bad point as being terrible at making jokes and gags. He's also considered as the most innocent one in the group.. Maybe Joo got her innocent side from him? Anyways, as a brother, he's quite protective since he's the only guy. Most of the times, he gets teased but he doesn't really care. He will get his revenge by tickling the two girls.

trainee life: 

After moving in to Seoul, Joo, Daehyun stayed in the dorms the company provided for them. Although Joo and her siblings are not going to live together, they still had managed to keep in touch. Cheondung told Daehyun to take care of his sister. The first weeks of training is quite hard for Jooyeon because girls keep on glaring at her for no reason. They make her feel uneasy. Actually, they are a jealous of her because she's close to Daehyun and she's doing really great in training sessions. One day, Daehyun overheard the girls planning something about hurting Jooyeon. 

"You girls hold her while I hit her with this metal arasso?" Their "leader" Heeyoung said.

Daehyun eyes grew wide. He had to stop them from hurting his bestfriend.

"Yah, what are you thinking?!" Daehyun shouted at the girls who turned their heads to him

"Daehyun oppa~ It was nothing.." Heeyoung flirted while twirling her hair in her finger. One of her friends hid the metal she was holding behind her back but it was too late since Daehyun already saw it.

"You girls are not going to hurt Jooyeon." He said

"But oppa~ she's been seducing you and she keeps on flirting with you. We just want to protect you from that show off ." Heeyoung replied

"What did you just call her?" Daehyun glared at the girl

"A ." Heeyoung steadily replied

"It's true oppa!" One of Heeyoung's friends said

This made Daehyun's blood boil. He grabbed the metal the girl was holding and held it up on Heeyoung's face as he held her arm.

"You girls don't have the right to hurt her. So DON'T YOU DARE LAY A FINGER ON HER. If not, you're going to be the one who's hurt. AND YOU ALSO DON'T HAVE THE RIGHTS TO CALL ME OPPA!" He shouted right at Heeyoung's face which made her tremble in fear and run away immediately when she was free from Daehyun's grasp. 

These girls are the reason why Jooyeon's first weeks of training  is rough. But after this happened, Jooyeon's training sessions are going smoothly. Even though they are quite tiring, she knows she's gonna be living her dream soon.
