personality: Hyemin is extremely friendly. Their family moved to the Philippines when she was 11 so Hyemin can learn English and her dad wants to open a Korean restaurant there. In her first day in school, she already had 10 friends and became popular. Every day her popularity increased, if that was possible. Usually when you see her, she gives you a hearty smile and says “Hi!” Hyemin greets everyone and anyone. She’s famous for her looks, intelligence, and kindheartedness. But the reason everyone really likes her is, because she is always cheerful and ..... she is always cheerful. They say she’s the girl who always smiles and never cries.

There were always lies and rumors about Hyemin. She deals with these by smiling and laughing it off even though she sometimes she wants to run away and cry. She doesn’t like it when people see her cry, she knows she can stand alone and hates it when people try to help her solve her own problems.

Her mother always taught her to be polite and proper. And she hasn’t forgotten about that but being all nice isn’t fun. But there are times when you just have to shove manners down the drain. For example, when Hyemin heard the rumor that she stole somebody’s boyfriend, she went into rage mode and started a fight. Who wouldn’t?! She isn’t always going to smile and laugh at these lies forever, everyone has their breaking point. And this is hers. She threw anything hard enough she could find at the poor girls and almost choked a. She even scared the toughest guys in her class. Hyemin is a perfect example of don’t judge the book by it’s cover.

To avoid this from happening again, please notice how Hyemin gets irritated. It is actually pretty easy to spot as she tends to curl up her fingers to form a fist. And her face doesn’t show her famous sunny smile. She also has evil death glares.

A girl hopeful of romance. Ever since her grandparents told her their dramatic love story, Hyemin has wishing, hoping and dreaming of meeting her one and only true love. She’s dated with some guys but none of them was the one.

Hyemin hates being cute because being cute and pretty means having jealous girls gossip and form disgusting lies about you, don't forget weird and strange guys falling for you. She wants to be more than just a pretty face.

While performing Hyemin is just her normal cheerful self. She does her best in singing and putting on a good show. She is very confident while on stage as she is used to be with lots of people. She's good at doing aegyo, after all, a cute girl that can't do aegyo is considered a slob.

Hyemin was born and raised in Seoul. They had to move in the Philippines because her father wanted to start a Korean restaurant and he wanted Hyemin to learn English. Luckily, all is well and the restaurant is a success. She was born as an only child, though she always wanted a sister. Her parents always made sure that Hyemin was happy.

Jooyeon was Hyemin’s neighbor when her family moved to the Philippines. She was also the one that taught Hyemin how to speak Filipino. Since Hyemin doesn’t have any siblings, she thinks of Jooyeon as one. She is one of the few people who have read and heard Hyemin sing the songs she has written. And if it wasn’t for Jooyeon, she wouldn’t be a trainee.

How did she meet her predebut boyfriend/girlfriend?:

Christopher was the school’s star basketball player. He was a ladies-killer and a two timer. Hyemin knew this and tried to stay away from him. But just like what they say “Love is blind.” Nonetheless, Hyemin fell for him.

One day, Christopher approached Hyemin and asked her out. Of course, she couldn’t just say no. They dated for 5 months. They broke up when Hyemin found out he was just playing with her. After that, Hyemin never wanted to fall in love again, especially with guys like Christopher

how did they meet?: Well, it all started with a flirt. .....

“Oh, come on! Why won’t you go out with me?!” Himchan exclaimed.

“Because.... I don’t even know who you are!!” Hyemin scowled.

Poor Hyemin, all she wanted to do was find the CEO of TS Entertainment, instead she’s being flirted with by this... this, this flirt!

“We just met in the elevator!” Hyemin finished his sentence.

What is the matter with this guy?! Does he seriuosly think I’m going to say yes? We’ve only met for 5 minutes!!! Hyemin screamed in her mind. She curled up her fingers to form a fist, her nails dug to her skin. She paused from walking and turned left and right looking for the CEO’s office. It didn’t take long for her to realize that she was lost. She sighed and pouted. She’s been lost for past 5 minutes and it's all thanks to this jerk.

“Omo~ You’re so cute Hyeminnie!!” Himchan beamed.

She glared at him but he doesn’t even care. “You don’t have the right to call me that! We’re not even close!” If he doesn’t stop following her, she will surely slap this guy in the face.

“Yeah, but you’re forgetting one important thing. I know this place. Now it’s either I help you or you can go talk to that snobby receptionist. Your choice.” he smirked. She groaned then stared at him.

“Of all people..... why me?” Hyemin cursed silently but still loud enough for Himchan to hear.

“Hmm..... maybe because..... we’re meant for each other.” Himchan joked, which earned him a hit in the arm.

How was your character discovered?: She was discovered with the help of her friend, Jooyeon. Jooyeon showed the CEO Hyemin's covers. Fortunately, the CEO liked her.

How was her trainee life: It was very hard. But her dream and her friend kept her going on.

Your character: Annyeonghaseyo Jo Hyemin imnida~

Interviewer: Ah, what a nice name. How old are you and where are you from?

Your character: Thank you. I'm 19 yrs. old and I was born here in Seoul. But we had to move in Manila when I was 11 because my father wanted to run a Korean restaurant. He wanted other people to taste Korean foods so he built a restaurant in the Philippines. And it became very famous.

Interviewer: I see. How confident are you in getting into A.X.E.?

Your character: Umm.... Honestly, I'm very nervous because there are a lot more talented girls than me. But I won't give up. I'll do my best to become a part A.X.E.

Interviewer: Ah, why do you want to be a member of A.X.E?

Your character: This is my dream, to perform on stage but I can't do it alone. I need my friends to be there with me on the stage, performing with me. Because if they're with me I feel much more confident.

Interviewer: Which position of the group do you want to be?

Your character: I really can't hit those high notes and I'm not much of a rapper........ So I guess I'll be the sub-vocalist, sub-rapper/sub-dancer and the Face of the Group.

Interviewer: And, what about the kind of persona you want to portray? Are you going to be the brain of the group, or the queen of aegyo?

Your character: That will be hard because I could be the brain or the queen of aegyo. But probably I'll chose the Queen of Aegyo because I love doing aegyo. Eveytime my dad is angry or he is a bit a glum, I would cheer him up by doing aegyo. I love making people smile.
