Personality :

Minah is a quiet and shy type of girl when you first meet her but it's very easy to become friends with her. Once she becomes comfortable with the person she is friendly, sweet, caring, silly, naïve and sometimes loud. She is bright and can put a smile on anyone’s face because of her sweet, caring and silly nature. She can bright up a room when she walks in but she is very naïve. Behind her happy and sweet personality, is an insecure and emotional girl. She becomes very emotional and cries a lot and becomes depressed easily. 

Background :

Minah came from a middle class family. Her father died when she was at a young age. She attended Seoul Art High School and helps her mum at their small cafe on the weekends. Minah has always loved to sing and dance since she was younger. She wanted to become an idol when she was 12 years old and her mother supported her. She auditioned to many companies and was accepted into JYP. She trained there for about 3 years before transferring into CUBE Entertainment.

Group background :

APink debuted as a 7-membered group in 2011. The group consisted of Park ChoRong, Yoon BoMi, Jung EunJi, Son NaEun, Hong YooKyung, Kim Nam Joo & Oh HaYoung. They debuted on April 21, 2011 with "I Don't Know". They have won several rookie awards and won their first music program on M!Countdown on the January 5, 2012 with "My My". 

MinAh was highly praised trainee  in CUBE Entertainment and was ready to debut but CUBE Entertainment wasn't on debuting a girlgroup anytime soon. After much planning and meeting between CUBE Entertainment and it's sister company, ACube Entertainment, they came to a decision that Minah would be an additional member to APink as Lead Vocalist, Main Rapper & Lead Dancer.

In late April, teasers of APink's were realeased with a silhouette of 8 members including MinAh. Many fans were excited while some worried. After many teasers, including a profile of MinAh were released, APink debuted as a 8-membered group, releasing their 1st full album, "une annee". APink fans, Pink Pandas, were excited for MinAh and continued to cheered APink on proudly.
