LALALALALALA~ REMONEDO RANTS ARE HERE AGAIN!!

well, i just felt that i really have to say this.

and i do know some of you who are guilty of it.

but rest assured, i'm not naming any names, or pointing any finger at anyone at all.

but it really caused me loads of headaches and it would be good to get this off my chest?

so the problem of the day is...

FONTS

regardless of types{eg arial, times new roman, georgia} , it's "situation"{eg. bold, italic, underlined, slashed} , color , highlights.

so, as you all know, i'm rather known for using "times new roman" for practically all of my blog posts

and i've always been using grey against white for the main texts, since it's less harsh instead of the usual black

and i bold it all the time.

so what annoys me most, is using light colored fonts like pink, light blue, neon green, yellow, etc.{you get my drift} just to notify people a change of perception.

and to tell you the truth, a good writer don't need that kind of help.

have you ever seen a published book with 12 different colored texts just to indicate that the dialogue is changing between different people?

i can assure you there's none. none that i've ever read in my whole entire life since i firt touched books.

it's rather amusing sometimes, when i read something halfway,

and there's just this annoying BLUE {especially if it's in some cursive font} that makes me unsubscribe and threw that fic out of the window.

of course i can't, that would practically mean throwing my tablet out of the window.

and i'm living on the sixth storey.

that's computer suicide o.o

ok, enough of crap talk. next, the fonts itself.

some people likes to use cursive/script-y fonts{which i'm too lazy to set right now}, but seriously guys,

PLEASE PLEASE

do consider about it again?? and like change it!!

first thing first, i usually read fics on my ipod.

so i have to use the mobile version of aff quite often.

and when i'm seriously tired waiting for updates, i wander around for fics

and when something catches your eyes, only to vanish when you can't read a single thing at all...

it's so... grrr... frustrating!!!!

like {here goes, loads of vulgarities here}

WHAT THE ARE YOU ING THINKING, YOU ING TARD???!!

ok, a little extreme right there...

but yea, that's literally how i felt.

so please, to all those writers out there who reads my blog, or just somehow so bored that you end up here{highly unlikely}

and guilty of doing all these things i stated above, just follow the following:

1. use the font georgia for stories. it's much neater and pleasing to the eye.

2. use one color, and if you're using black, don't bold it. it's better if you use "unsaturated" colors. meaning colors ranging for white to grey to black only.

makes the reader's life easier. and i'm resisting the urge to use science to explain, so don't make me because it's gonna be boring.

3. if all these doesn't help...

IT'S TIME TO FIND A PROOF READER / EDITOR / CRITIQUE / RELIABLE CO-AUTHOR / BETTA READER{or whatever it's called}

oh, just a side note{if you can read this, amazing}:

i'm irritated with chain quizes in blog posts. please, stop it. makes me anticiapate because of the orange alert at the top left hand corner for nothing.

i'm begging you...

i write and read on my phone, so the effect of those coloured and cursive fonts are worse. no matter how good the story is, i really can't read it and give up eventually.
