Alot of my friends don't understand the PV of 1000 years, and this PV also made me really confused.

And I've decided to put in my own interpretation of it.

Basically SHINee's role in the PV Is the grim reaper.

A nice classy handsome version of the grim reapers who can take the form of black cats. They keep track of one's lifetimes, and when your time is up, you board the bus and go to heaven.

So at the start of the MV, Onew did a headcount and they were like omg, someone is missing.

Then Jonghyun checks his watch and is extremely confused.

Then the others start to panic and key flips his book of death (lmao) and see the picture, and that was the man who apparently refuses to accept his fate? lol

What confused me was why the boy was so cold to the man, but so warm to his mom? But he kept having fun memories of tem together. I initially thought that, perhaps the dude is the stepdad, thats why the kid can't find solace in him.

But I realised that the dude was dead. so his wife (?) nor his son saw him, thats why he was kinda transparent. Note that they did not have direct interactions. The guy was just a spirit unable to let go of his love to his family.

So when his dad kept doing actions of the clown, the kid ignored him

because he couldn't see him.

The boy sees the granny beside him and she gives her a smile. boy got creeped, apparently lmao.

So the doctor tells mom stuff and perhaps the kid's in some sort of grave danger because of the illness? and after the surgery, the man sees the black cats, and he realises that they are there to fetch him back.

So pissed him storms out and does one thing he has t do before he goes.

Which is to release the balloons apparently.

So the kid wakes up and he realises that the granny is gone, nurses are packing her bed.

And he realizes shes dead, she died already, and poor kid feels horrible inside andt urns around.

So yep, he releases the balloon, and the kid put the red clown nose on his teddy, to show that he actually misses him etc, misses their memories as it flashes in his mind.

So he comes to the bus, and when he walks into the bus of no return, he sees the granny that was beside his son, the granny that smiled at his son and then died.

And then he sits down, as he sees his son doing the superman pose (idk how) , he does it too, to show that they'll be with each other forever, no matter what. 

He'll always be by his son's and family's side.

And Taemin does the pose too which i rofl-ed like mad idk why.

Key flips his book and sees the article of probably the accident that caused the man's death. So i initially kept thinking he was a step dad, but I realized that he already died at the start of the mv.

And the kid just has memories of his daddy.

But idk japanese so im probably wrong, in fact this is just an interpretation from my POV. so yep
