Family background: (mention all important family members) - Kyung Woo was raised in a very strict family. His father is a soldier for  Korea army and his mother works as a teacher in high school. His two brothers were a university graduates and currently work as doctor and lawyer respectively. He is definitely not from musical family, even though his brother, Si Woo, was once a guitarist for middle school band. His idea of being an artist was strongly objected by the parents, which caused him to ran away from home to go for an audition after middle school. His sister followed his steps on musical being as she practiced dance in her school.

Past stories: (life before entering debuting) - He ran away from home to go for audition. He dropped out from high school to go to Seoul for audition for talent agency. He worked several jobs, such as waiter, car washer and etcetera. He was auditioning for SM Entertainment and accepted in 2004. He was listed to be a member of Super Junior, as the group was practicing the concept of graduation. He, along with Kyu Hyun, was listed to be in Super Junior '06. However, the concept was dropped and all the original members have to stay in the group with additional member, only Kyu Hyun. Being heart-broken from the decision, Kyung Woo left SM Entertainment in 2007. He tried again in another talent agency. He was auditioned and accepted into JYP Entertainment. However, in 2010, he left JYP Entertainment due to poor performance development. Then, he auditioned for Vega.
