Character/Personality :

"Don't Act Like You Know Me Cause You Recognize Me" - Dear TV [ Tablo] : Most people are intimidated by Yong when meeting him for the first time. Despite his baby face appearance, his idol career usually portrays him as a person of swag and blunt seriousness, but in actuality he's none of those things! Though he does have a sort of unique "swag" to him, he isn't all serious and what not. He's quite chill and funny to be around. He gets a bit upset when his fans have the wrong idea of him, so he goes out of his way to show fans that he isn't some stuck up idol by doing random acts of fanservice. Though he enjoys his idol life he does not enjoy the labels put on him by the media such as scandals and rumors, Yong much rather have a nice calm/normal life despite what others may think.

"Hello, Hello" - Hello [SHINee] : Having lived in America for most of his life, Haji/Yong may come off as a bit too friendly to some. He greets people as if he's known them for his entire life and they're some long lost friend. So, naturally his first way of greeting is a hug or a handshake and shoulder bump combo for guys, you know the signature , "bro-hug". However, after spending a couple of months in Korea he learned not a lot of people are comfortable with such greetings. Now he greets people with a sweet goofy smile (which shows his baby faced features more) and holds out a fist for them to bump with they're own. He has that weird charm about him that causes most people to like him, which is why he's able to make friends so easily and quickly!

"Heart Heart Heart Heart Heartbreaker" - Heartbreaker [G-Dragon] : Yong has the tendency to come off as a bit of a flirt for his friendly nature. He tends to be very caring/gentle towards girls because, well... it's just how he is. He's always had a soft spot for girls since he never had any sisters of his own. It doesn't make it any better that he uses a lot of skinship because of his foreign nature. He just can't help himself! He's a goofball and likes to joke around with others, making people laugh and comfortable is his thing, but he is absolutely not a player. He has been in a very few amount of relationship believe it or not, and is a bit dense when it comes to others feelings about him. However, when he does become interested in someone it's hard to tell since he makes them question his motives by his joking and playful nature.

"Yessir, I'm One Of A Kind" - One Of A Kind [G-Dragon] : Yong/Haji is quite the unique character. He has the appearance (face) of a child which often causes him to struggle with people questioning his manliness. They often say he's "cute" and "cuddly" which he's alright with at times, but when it comes to his Hyungs and perhaps one day his significant other he wants them to see him as a man! His height and voice are a main indicator of his "manly" side. He towers over a bit of people being a couple inches short of six feet and his voice is a bit lower than most which gives it a silky sound. An interesting thing about Yong is his ability to diminish any awkward/tense air in the area. He just has this ability to know exactly what to do to make people comfortable and happy. Whether it be his smile or his jokes, he gets the job done.

"We We We The, We The Leaders!" - The Leaders [GD, Teddy, and CL] : Yong is known as the leader type. Being a solo artist many people tend to not notice this about him, but his ability to choose his actions wisely and know what's the right thing to do show it. He is pretty protective about the ones he cares about as well. Whether it be sticking up for them or taking care of trouble for them, he'll be there. Being the leader type isn't always good though, he tends to get jealous when those he's attatched to him is taken away from him... He tries not to show it though. This may come up a bit when he gets into relationships. Other than that he's a very cool, calm, and collected guy.

"Hey!, I'm Mr. Simple" - Mr. Simple [Super Junior] : Despite all the glamorous things that come with the life style of being an idol, Yong is a pretty down to Earth guy who enjoys the simple things in life. He much rather live in a small cozy house, rather than a huge empty mansion. He wants to be able to enjoy home cooked meals instead of take out. What's food without a little bit of love, right? He also enjoys kids, so he does want a family of his own one day. Quite often will you find him playing with random children on the street. He'd secretly drop his idol life in a heartbeat if he could trade it in for a wife and family of his own.

"Baby I'm Not A Monster" - Monster [Big Bang] - Yong/Haji does have bad days sometimes, usually caused by a lot of stress from a jam packed schedule. But, who doesn't have bad days right?. Though he tries to isolate himself from others, he does secretly want someone to come after him and calm him down. He isn't exactly a morning person either. He won't snap at you for waking him early, but he will glare at you for a bit and not speak for a while.

"Because I'm Naughty Naughty" - Mr. Simple [Super Junior] : Yong has quite an image on stage. He appears very confident, y, and bold. The normal traits of a rapper. However, when it comes to being y he's very shy about it! Behind the scenes you'll see him posing ily one moment, then covering himself embarassed the next! He's an embarassed cutie!! He isn't an aegyo abuser either, so don't get that idea. He came from America and doesn't necessarily use aegyo since it's unnatural to him. If he is asked to do it, he'll try, fail, but still somehow manage to appear cute since he'll just pout or something afterwards. He believes in "puppy dog" look though... Just to get what he wants from Noonas. If anyone were to question his masculinity after a use of "the look" he'd defend himself saying dogs are manly!!

So basically, he's sort of that "seemingly cool" guy who is really chill and actually a dork in real life XD

Personal Background/Biography :

Woo Haji was born in a small family consisting of his mother, father, and himself, in Osaka, Japan. He grew up as an only child for most of his life and was very fortunate that his family was better off than most. He did not grow up snotty, he learned from a young age to be humble, which is why he is so down-to-earth now as a young adult. He remained in Japan for a good portion of his childhood; 10 years in a matter of fact. There he was "forced" to take many difficult classes since his mother was a semi-strict woman. Although she really just wanted her son to be the best he could. Haji grew up a very well educated child, but his parents began to soften up when they realized he was talented in the entertainment industry. At the young age of 6, Haji began dancing. He saw a couple of older guys from the high school doing it. He found the sharp snapping movements and transtitions to silky smooth moves amazing! So he tried mimicing and succeeded!

When Haji was 9, he gained a new sibling! It was by surprise since his mother was not pregnant at the time. It turns out one of his parents good friends couldn't financially afford him. So, the Woo family took him in at the age of 7.

A year later their family moved to America, more specificlly New York, New York. Haji quickly adapted to the culture and obtained a few more new talents consisting of rapping and beatboxing. His younger brother whose name is Chan Ho, looked up to him a lot and told their parents of Haji's talents. Now, up until this point of Haji's life all his parents cared about were his grades, but considering Haji was passing all his classes without struggle they decided to support his talents. They sent Haji to vocal lessons not only to better his singing voice, but to train his vocals so he could rap and beatbox with better control. Haji was happy, and though he was only doing enough to pass in school (choosing not to stand out for being too smart) he was glad his parents saw it.

When Haji turned 18 and graduated from High School, his younger brother was 14... and already taller than him. This caused many to mistake Haji as the younger one because of his height. Both Chan Ho and himself had baby faces, so people judged on height. This would frustrate Haji most of the time, but he always loved his brother nonetheless. Since Haji was 18, he decided to go out and explore. One of his cousins from Korea were going to be in Japan soon, so he decided to travel there and hang with him. He made a sad departure from his family and promised to keep in touch.

In Japan he met up with Woo JiHo (aka future Zico of Block B at the time) and they began to have fun. They'd often perform out on the streets for fun and the occassional easy buck or two. Surprisingly enough they were invited to do a gig at a pretty popular club out in Japan. Though JiHo declined, since he needed to be back home, Haji accepted. He meant business when he accepted, he saw this as a potential gig in the future. He wrote his own lyrics and everything. When he went to the club and performed people were amazed! Big Bang who just so happened to be stationed in Japan at the time were also at that club, and they liked what they saw. Specifically a certain Kwon Leader.

Kwon Jiyong personally talked to Haji and asked him to come back to Korea with them. Haji was a bit skeptical at first, since he's never been there before, but thought "Why not?" and went with them. It was the best decision of his life because YG Entertainment instantly accepted him into the family as a solo artist. G-Dragon was personally appointed to watch after him and help him grow in his future career, and that is how Haji became known as The Dragon's Protege and simply Yong.

Dong Youngbae (Taeyang) | 24 | Idol | Taeyang is a very good "older brother" figure to Yong. Always making sure he's doing well. They get along like brothers would.

Kang Daesung (D-Lite) | 23 | Idol | Daesung acts as a mother to Yong. Always fussing over small things whenever Yong is about to go on stage. Yong finds it quite amusing.

Lee Chaerin (CL) | 21 | Idol | Like stated in Yong's trivia 2NE1 constantly harasses him >_< They'll a lot (playfully) and make him blush a lot they are like his annoying sisters, but he still cares for them a lot despite being younger than all of the but Minzy. He's close with all of them but closest to CL since she speaks the best English/

Ideal Type : Yong's ideal type... Well like stated a couple of times previously they would not be an idol and would most likely be a noona. He would like them to be a bit shy at first because he finds when girls blush cute. So he would constantly try to charm her. Though when they get to know each other better he would hope she'd be very comfortable around him eventually opening up into a type of wild flower. He likes girls with style, not necessarily run way style, but style none the least. She's got to be a bit "gangster" in order to survive his idol life... Just joking he'd find it adorable if she would pretend to be tough. He'd also probably fall for a klutz ^^ She'd have to look young... just like him despite the fact that she would be older than him. She'd have to cook considering he likes home cooked meals and is good with kids considering he also wants a family in the future. He'd also like it if she got a little bit concerned whenever he got too friendly with other girls considering that is how he is, though would not enjoy it if she was overbearing. OH!! He would love it if she sort of glowed, not literally, but her presence just radiates and give off that feel good feeling. The natural glowing beauty. He'd totally go for that. It's a plus if they teach him how to speak Korean a lot more >_<
