What's your species like? A Cruix is a vampire that feeds on other vampires. The usual reason is because once the blood enters a vampire and becomes its own the properties change, it becomes infused with supernatural energy. The vampires use the energy to maintain their otherworldly powers like fast regeneration, super speed, flight, etc. So the Black Angels (Cruix) feed on the processed blood to process it even further to achieve higher powers.

some do it because they depise being an vampire and hate the others and the fact they hurt humans. Cruix can eat human food but dont stomach it well. They are depised for their power and because they are traitors to their own kind. They only hate vampires and are usually content with other creatures. Most don't known about them or have even heard of them. They have the basic skills of a vampire plus a few others like mind control. THe cruix can walk in daylight but if it is to harsh it will hurt a bit. Most cruix stay hidden because most speices find them shameful and power lusting demons.

The reason some call cruix black angel is because once they drink enough blood from vampires they have to endure a painful baring of wings. The first time they get their black feathered wings is probably the most painful thing they will ever experience. After that they can use their wings with ease. Cruix are known for their wings and glowing red eyes. A sudden change in emotion or hunger trigger their eyes to glow making them more meanacing.

At the young age of 2, me and my brother, were given to royal vampires as tokens to spare our parents lives. We were acceped into the royal family because they say potental in my brother to be the next in line while i could be sold to another family. When i wasn't being taught forgein language, violin, dancing,gardening, and proper ettiqutte i was beside my brother. I often complianed about the strict rules of the manor and the fact i couldn't play and had to wear a dress. He would just tell me to bear it and smile. I felt bad since he had it 10x worst and he rarely smiled. The only time he would is when we would be alone sipping blood from our cups talking about the future. I spent a lot of free time reading and was intrigued by the cruix legend. I oftened asked my tutor and even my adoptive parents about the cruix. i just got a dirty glare or told that i shouldnt bring it up. I was often told i was wrong about everything and that i was a lost cause. I was never good enough for my parents especially not my mom. So i stopped trying and rebelled aganist them often leaving to hang out with my friend chaerin or training with samaria swords or locked in my room reading and playing violin.

The day i turned 15 i had to drink from a real human and not from a cup. I was expecting an adult but instead my mother brought a small girl. I told her i couldn't take a innocent childs life but she threatened me. The screams of the little girl still haunt me. When i lifted my head i saw the elated face of my mother who joyously told me she was proud. I smiled and bowed before giving her an constricted hug and a deep bite into her neck. I drained her and quickly feld along with my brother. We ran from the manor hearing my father telling us we would die. I met up with my friend at the edge of japan. She brought us to korea and gave us a place to stay. My brother and i proclaimed ourshelves cruix and vowed to the life of shadows. I cut my hair and started dressing more boyish and dark. Not only to deguise myself but also i enjoyed the look. My brother remained the same he refused to change himself and wasn't scared of our father. Soon i got word of the new school and excitedly told my brother. Even if i was a cruix i loved learning so with my brother permission i joined.
