Why I don't update as often as before

To my beloved subscribers and friends:

Remember when I updated my fic almost everyday?

To my subscribers, I'm sorry if you missed that.

Well, honestly, I know I'm still capable of doing it(fast updating) despite my heavy schedule since my stories are
in a sense complete once I post the first chapter of a story.

Editing takes a chunk load of my time though.

And lately, I've been reflecting on finding my writer identity.

I want to find the best writing style I would like to develop as my own.

I've noticed good writers having that.

They could be recognized just by the way they write. (e.g. descriptive, fluffy, shakespearean whatever)
[Ah, this is definitely written by blah.etc. etc.]

I want my stories to make readers feel that way.

And I have been failing miserably because my writing style changes with my mood.

Seriously, I don't exactly know if I have one or I will be having one.

I'm so inconsistent.

Sigh.

Those waiting for my update, I promise to update and post the ending for TCTY
before the weekend ends.

I'm just working on my Taengsic fic and I wanted to include the advertisement at the end chapter of TCTY.

hehe. Just being practical. :D

Thank you all for your support and patience.

Let's spread optimism and angst(but only in fics).

For you I will,

FreeFall

Writing style will establish itself along the way. Just keep writing and you will find it.
I think there is no good writer over here that can be recognized simply by their styles *LOL* Try to troll around. Write a story in an unknown account, nobody will realize who you are.

By the end, just write for the joy of writing because that is the most important thing.

You know what your writing style is? Simple. That's your thing. Simple writing but great story.

But if you're not convinced, honestly, you'll evolve and improve along the way. Just keep on writing and reading and you'll notice a change eventually.

I remember my first story, it was horrible! But then I continued writing and reading others' fics and I personally think I improved, not to mention a wider vocab.

So don't stress yourself over it. You'll get their dongsaeng. Hwaiting!

Hey twin!
Lol we are going through almost the same phase xD
For me I went to read all those really good fanfiction and kind of deflated :P
But hey I really like your writing style! Simple and concise, yet I can still feel the emotions :D
I'm not really good at recognizing the style of authors (unless I'm really bored and decide to read painfully slow) but I can recognize yours^^ It's interesting to me, cause simple was never my forte.

All in all, don't worry too much^^ Your writer identity is coming off quite strong and you have a whole bunch of subscribers to prove it :D If you're worried on your writing style is dependent on your mood, it's actually quite normal hehe^^

Oh gosh I ____ at writing these long things T_T sorry of I confused you I think I'm confusing myself too O_O

Okay the main point is: Your writing is awesome and you have established an identity.

Taengsic? Hmmm I'll go and check it out xD man twin you're really rubbing off me for Taengsic :P but Taeny always first ;D hahaha xD

Hey chinggu!!

I honestly think that you do have your own.

I remember reading your first ever story, Tiffany's Confession... Your style of writing is quite unique, very pleasing to the eyes. Simplicity at its best. Cute Inner dialogues; not too wordy or descriptive.

I personally like your style in the Jumper Story.

Just continue writing that way. It's what draws us in :)

Oh. I find it interesting that you find that your changing style is a problem. In my opinion, it reflects your versatility more than anything else.

I remember when I used to have to write essays for school, depending on what books I had recently read, my sentence composition + vocabulary choice would shift ever so slightly. So if I had recently read some Sherlock Holmes stories, I would write in a slightly more British manner.

Either way, I wouldn't consider it a problem. If all stories were written in the same style, it would be more boring. Exploration is fun!

On another note, TAENGSIC! Tae belongs with Fany! Always!

JKJK - I do find that I've been liking Sica a lot recently; especially after seeing some of her funny clips on youtube.
