Online Phone Game Comes Under Fire For Parodying IU and Super Junior Eunhyuk’s Scandal Photo

With the dust still settling from the IU-Eunhyuk photo scandal, one mobile phone game company is coming under fire for its new parody ads.

Netizens began uploading screen captures of an illustration ad from a mobile phone game company which had begun using an illustrated parody of the IU-Eunhyuk picture to promote its new game.

The illustrated parody showed clear, unmistakable similarities as the scandal photo with half of the face of a woman in her pajamas seen posing with a male leaning close towards her in the image. The illustration had even put in a mole on the woman’s face which was also clearly seen on IU’s face in the original picture.

Netizens were even more outraged that the online game, called ‘Servant Matgo’, was an adult-themed and oriented game in which the player gets to undress one article of clothing from the girl each time the player wins.

Soon the website of the game company became flooded with complaints, leading to the deletion of the image in question, but not before the image had already quickly spread online.
