Hi, what's your name? Hello, Hwa Di-an, at your service. (Shakes with interviewer)
Do you have any nicknames? If you do, who calls you that and why?
Yes I do, most people call me, Di Di instead of Di-an, everyone who is close to me calls me like this but my grandma was the one who started calling me, Di Di since I was a little.
So, how old are you? I just turned 22 last week.
Are you currently enrolled in any schools? If so, please me which school you attend.
I was attending the New York French Culinary Institute while getting my degree in Business and Management at New York University.
What is your nationality? I’m Korean but I have an American Citizenship.
Nice, where were you born? I was born in Incheon, South Korea.
Where did you grow up? However, I grew up in New York City.
What are some things you like or dislike?
My three favorite things at this moment are Old Jazz and Blues Records, Heels, and Historical Books. The three things I least like are Hairless Cats, Spiders and Black Tasteless Coffee, I have a bit of sweet tooth. (Small chuckle at the end)
Do you have any habits? I guess I do have one which is I play with my rings or necklace or earrings, etc. if I’m very nervous.
Are there any interesting facts about you?
Interesting facts about me? (Thinking) I have been baking for long time; my first cake from starch was when I was 6. I have big sweet tooth for chocolate, I hope I’m not talking too much. (Nervous laugh) I love to do new things when it comes to baking and my life in general. Also, I have a beautiful male Pomeranian named Milo, who I bake dog treats for. I don’t know if I say this but I two small tattoos, one is on side of right hand (showing it) and the other one is behind my right ear. (Smiling)
Ahh, I see. Okay, how would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as an interesting young lady who enjoys to slow down and smell the roses. I understand that everyone is busy with their lives but I would like think that one will take the time to enjoy the small things in life because they don’t last forever. I’m very independent of others, I take things as they come and try to always be ready for the unexpected. I’m starting to talking a lot again (laughing a little) but I’m a bit of an old soul trap in a young body but most I keep an open mind about things wither it be work relate or personal. (Laughing) I have mean sense of humor to say the least because I will laugh if someone falls before helping them get up, which may seems little rude. I’m smart enough to know when I lost a debate on something; I was thought to know the difference between what is right and what is wrong. However, I can help but be a little bit of helpless romantic who believes in true love and in finding one’s soul mate; I don’t really like to show it. That’s all I can really say because I still have a lot of room to grow.
Do you get along with others? I do, I think of myself as good friend who can be trusted and hope to trust back, I do give everyone the belief of the doubt but I have my limit as well. Most of time I get along with everyone but we are human and we all make mistakes and those can lead to misunderstandings. I like to be respected so I give respect however; I’m no one’s door mat.
If we had a situation where someone didn't like their order, how would you handle it? I would be polite and ask them what is wrong, once they tell me, I’ll personally change it and make sure it never happens again. The customer is always right no matter what.
What position would you like? Baker
Do you have any experience in work? During school, I took up a part time in small bakery in New York where I was a cashier and later I was an intern in that same bakery.
What other position would you like to have? If I couldn’t get the Baker Position I would like the co-manager position that is also being offer.
Can you speak any other language besides Korean? If you do, how fluent are you? Yes, I speak English, Korean and French. I’m extremely fluent in English and Korean while I’m okay in French.
Alright, we like a request from you. Can you present us with any of your works?
I would love too, I will present to you four of grandma’s favorite desserts.
1) This is a simple double chocolate cookie w/ vanilla frosting; it’s called V and You!
2) This is my strawberry cheesecake decorated into a sugared strawberry called Red Coco Kiss
3) This is a chocolate and blueberry cake in perfect harmony called Blue Night.
4) Last but not least, this is my grandmother’s favorite called Miss. Honey made out of pumpkin pie w/ honey frosting and drizzled w/ crystal sugar.

Back-Up Ulzzang Name: Do Hwae Ji
How do you dress like? My clothes is filled with some random pieces of clothing like rock n roll t-shirts, spiked heels, neon colored short, action hero shirts, sheer blouses and other girly and non-girly items. Something I wear on a regular base is skinny jeans, I love and own pretty much about every shade and style of them. I use them with everything from a nice blouse and heels to a baggy t-shirt and flats or sneakers. Another thing that you might find in my closet is light color blouses and band t-shirts. Aside from jeans and shirts, I own some pretty skirts in tan, black, white and even pink and a couple of maxi dresses in light summer colors like green and blue. However, when it comes to accessories, it’s a whole different story, I only wear small earrings but I use chunky bracelets, animal design or big shaped rings and sometimes I will wear necklaces if needed to any some color into the outfit. When it comes to shoes, I’m a er from high heels no matter what color they are; I also love sneakers, flats, and sandals.
Family
Family Background: The day I was born was the day my grandmother became my mother and took care of me like if I was her real daughter. My grandmother tells me, my mother was a beautiful person both inside and out, and that my father was a smart young man, she has never spoke a word against them. However, my grandmother, along with uncle has always been grateful that they were allowed to keep me and watch me grow; Uncle Jae Ki tells me he will always take care for me. On my 3rd birthday, he was the one who made me a small party in little ranch. I started to grow up in a family that was dedicated help others. I started to go to school at 5, I learned English since my first language was Korean; I enjoy going to school and learning new things. After three years of living and going to school in Incheon, where I met my best friend, my grandmother decide to go live in New York, to start new. I really didn’t like the idea of moving but if it make my grandmother happy then I would go along. At 10, I was happy that I learned English because I was now in school and it would have been very hard if I didn’t. I was still not used to living in USA, I really missed my life in Incheon mainly my friends. My grandmother would love for me to back and forth during my vacations but I couldn’t go.
After four more years of coming and going, my uncle had grown out the business it was getting much bigger and now my grandma was living the life deserve. When I turn 16, my grandmother got very ill, so much to the point where we thought we might have lost her. After a year of taking care of my grandma, my uncle decides to adopt, he adopted a beautiful little girl who really need a home. Being 19 and soon 20, I have just started my second year in college, my uncle is expanding the business while grandmother takes a well-deserve break. My early twenties were all about getting healthy, being family, and staying focus in school and going back. I came back to Korea almost a year ago without my grandma and uncle but it was good to see how I have grown into better person while following my dream. Now that I’m 22, I will try to use my family’s support and love to become a great baker and make my grandmother and uncle proud.
Family & Friends: Hwa Eun Ki (English Name: Helena)|| 60 || Grandmother || Alive || Business Owner in New York || My grandma or Mama like I call her, love to seat down and have long talks about life, she is very tough and proud woman who likes to push the people she loves to do their best. She very sweet when she wants too, she’s box full of life and wisdom that allows me to ask advice whenever I need.
Hwa Jae Ki (English Name: Jake) || 36 || Uncle || Alive || Businessman || My lovely uncle Jae Ki and I have good relationship, he has been like a father to me, he tries his best to set an example for me and I try my hardest to not disappoint him. We are always laughing when we are together, he like to tease me.
Hwa Jana || 7 || Female Cousin || Alive|| Student || Jana is a powerhouse, she is always on the move. We get along pretty good, she looks up to me and I’ll always be there for her. We don’t always agree on things but do have fun with each other.
Moon So Young || 22 || Best Friend ||Alive || Photographer || Youngie is my best friends since grade school when after I moved to New York when continue to be friends. She and I don’t always see eye to eye but we try to support each other, she is very open minded and strong will. We do fight and get on each other’s nervous but we never stay mad. So Young is a great photographer that works with models and idols.
Kang Daesung || 23 || Friend || Alive || Idol Singer (Big Bang) || Dae and I met though So Young, I very friendly and he’s humbleness and kindness really got me to like him. He treats me very respectful and I treat him the same, we do share a few laugh together.
How you met your friends:
So Young: I started school in Korea when I was small; I remember I don’t really like it at first. However, if I haven’t gone to that school I would have never met So Young. The day we met, we hate each other; it started with a boy in class we both liked. I was being a child and playing around with that boy and she didn’t like it, so come lunch time, she tripped me and I spilled milk on her. We were sitting the office waiting for our parents to come, when we started talking, and from that day forward we let no man come between us. So Young and I still bicker at time but we love each other to death.
Daesung: So Young was the main reason why I met Daesung, she wanted me to meet the guy she wanted to date at the time. The 1st time I met him he was a little too quiet, he barely spoke a word, I remember just sitting there playing with my fingers since none of us said anything. The next time I saw him, I didn’t even talk to him because I just didn’t know what to say but as time when on we are to become less shy with one another until we were friends. He is very nice and funny person once you break the shell. Youngie and he never dated but we all become close friends and still are.

Name: Choi Seunghyun aka T.O.P

Birthday: November 4, 1987
Personality: To public eye, Choi Seunghyun or T.O.P carries labels like the classic bad boy or the y playboy to which he just smile or laugh at. Seunghyun knows he’s a handsome man but he pefers to be known for his brain power, he loves to read and watch old American movies. He and his father love to go out and explore nature, he loves his father and respect him very much. He’s very serious and professional when it comes to work which he got from his parents. His mother and his sister are the most important women in his life, they get to see a rare Seunghyun, one that loves to cook and delicate. However’ I never thought I would get to see these sides of him, he keeps them so hidden and far away from the surface.
His fans get to see a playful and funny T.O.P but his group mates and close friends get his mean sense of humor. Seunghyun likes to go out with his boys and have a good night; he is always looking out for his younger mates. With Seungri and Daesung, he likes to teach them new things but he doesn’t mind learning from them either. He and Taeyang like to talk about the future and other random things, the y are very close and it comes to Jiyong, he is like the brother that he always wanted, they fight, they laugh, and they share a lot of things together. When Seunghyun and I met in public, he is very polite and respectful but sometimes a little cold. However, when we are alone he’s sweet and little childish like when he calls me noona, he laughs about the silliest things and is capture by the beauty of things.
How you guys met: We met outside YG Entertainment when I was helping out So Young who works for YG at times. I remember that day like it was yesterday, it was my day off and I wanted to enjoy it but my lovely best friend, So Young, needed some help so I said why not. I didn’t know where the YG building was located at since I was new to Korea, I did get lost until I end up in front of two giant doors and there he was. He was dress in black and with a white shirt so I not very familiar the whole kpop sense so I thought he was a security guard. The look on his face was priceless until I got the hint and I recognize him, I was so ashamed that I didn’t know. It was a little awkward to work with him that day until we got to know each other.

Back-Up Love Interest Name: No Min-woo (Actor)
Age: 26
Birthday: May 26, 1986
Personality: Min-woo is very different to most of the guys I know, he is very outspoken and full spirited. Min-woo love to make people smile and sometimes laugh, his close friends and even strangers know him as the spark in the group. Min-woo try to always make time for his friends and family, he’s the kind of person you can always call when you’re in need. Mr. No Min-woo is an intelligent, capable and hard-working young man who enjoys want he does. Music is a passion he shares with my mother who taught him how to play the piano, like to spend time together enjoying what they like. Min-woo recognize that most of his valuable lessons come from his father, they have a good bond. When I first met him I did think he was a jerk.
As I got to know him, I learned he loves to help those in need, he is like a big brother to many children and he quietly spends his time with them. Min-woo can be very picky and sometimes a bit judgmental, he is outspoken and that causes him to get in trouble. He likes to try new things and have fun adventures with his friends. Min-woo have shown me how respectful and nice he can be, he always makes me laugh. I love to spend time with him because he’s a good teacher who it comes to playing the drums. Min-woo is a lovable person who gets along with everyone.
How you guys met: I have always loved Korean dramas, the first time I saw him was in the drama called Pasta. I loved to watch the drama so that I could stare at him. When I finally came to Korea, one of the first events I went to was his meet and greet, I got to sit in the front row. I remember in was half way through the meet and greet when I got picked to go on stage, I remember being nervous as I went up there. When Min-woo shook my hand, I looked at him and he was staring back at me, I thought I was crazy thinking he was really sneaking glance at me. After the meet and greet, I went to a small café close to the place where I had met No Min-woo, I couldn’t stop smile as I remember the events that took place an hour ago. I was sitting there for a while, daydreaming until some guy sat at my table and it turn out to be him. We chatted for a while and then as time passed we became friends.
