Past experience:

He wasn't supposed to be involved in this. He was a successful actor. His life was perfect and all until he was framed by his nemesis. He was set up into the situation where people accused of him killing someone. He was sent to jail for 5 years as there was nobody who believed him because he was an amazing actor. They didn't want to take chances that he might be acting during the court meeting. After he came out of jail, he was on parol for a year. After that, he was able to live his life well. 

He came to the department, accepting Kris' propposal. He came here clueless but knowledgeable enough to greet the new officers. Despite all of that, he seems to be more friendly to the officers than Kris. Though, he feels sorry for the officers who suffer from lack of sleep because of the cases. He couldn't be much help which frustrates him a lot. He hopes to grow well and become more professional in his position.
