Personality:
Park Rae can be described in a single word, Multitasker. It also explains her fast paced talking, even in a language she isn't good at. She always has a lot in mind so she blurts it all out in one go, not catching her breath. She also has a personality of lightning, it strikes anytime, anywhere, on anyone. She likes to do thing all at once with no delay, doesn't like to keep things held on one side. Rae is also very fast in completing tasks that are given to her, like learning a new song, learning a new dance step, she might even stay up all night practicing just to make sure everything is done to the best. Park Rae is also a very straight-forward person, she is not afraid to speak up for her friends and herself, even if it is to someone she should respect, she speaks her mind. She feels that being a foreigner, she needs to put in more effort than the others to be on par with them, so she always puts herself beyond her limit, sometimes a little too much. Family and Friends Information
Family Background: Park Rae's father is a Korean, mother is a Singaporean. They met while father was on a holiday trip to Singapore and tour guide is mother. They met and fall in love, got hitched then moved to singapore for better job prospects. Born in Singapore, Park Rae was the only child. She was typical girl who looked and sounded exactly like any other singaporean. She has bad korean because her parents don't usually speak in korean in the house, instead, they spoke chinese and english at home.
Trainee History: It was the December school holidays over at Singapore and Park Rae decided to go on a holiday trip to Korea with her K-Pop friends. They had a wonderful eat and shop trip, not forgetting taking photos of every K-Pop idol on the posters along the shops. Their final stop was Park Rae's favorite, Norebang. They made sure they practice hard to sing each and every korean song they knew before entering the Norebang. But what they didnt know was that the room next door was occupied by the JYP agents. After singing several Dong Bang Shin Ki's songs, 5 man burst into room like FBI agents and pointed at Park Rae when she was holding on the mic and spoke loud korean words which none of them understood. Lucky, one of the JYP agents knew english and told Park Rae she was to be auditioned for JYP's new girl group. "WHAT?!" was their response.
After counting the pros and cons for several months, Park Rae decided to give this oppotunity a try. What she didn't know was her broken korean and her flexiblity actually got her auditions after auditions and finally became the trainee of JYP. During the 2 years training at JYP, she met many people, made many friends and enemies as well.
