Luhan stared at the card in his hands, unable to comprehend the letter anymore because his hands were shaking with so much force. It was the tears. The tears that refused to stop and just kept falling; dripping everywhere onto his shirt, the floor, and the card written directly to him that ultimately broke his heart.

He didn’t think it would end this way but really, it was Sehun and he always ended things with a bang.

From the moment they met, Luhan knew he was in for a roller coaster of uncertain emotions. Happiness that he met someone new: a friend. Confusion, when fleeting touches lingered too long and gazes held tightly with lust and longing. Love, when they held onto each other in the middle of the night and whispered calming words and wished each other a good night, unspoken promises of warm good mornings.

Now he had no one to hold him when he was cold. It could get chilly in their- his, more tears fell when he realized this correction- apartment but it would be even colder now that there was one less person living in it.

He tried to steady his trembling but decided to just let it fall on the ground where it could lay still. The words ‘Goodbye’ and ‘Love, Sehun’ hit him in his heart, shattering it even more than knowingly possible. He didn’t even explain his leave.

He thought he deserved more than that but really, it was Sehun and he always kept Luhan guessing.
