Family Background:

Kyung-mi was born into an all Korean family that was pretty well-off. Her father, An Dae-hyun met her mother Yunhee during their college years when Yunhee was studying fashion while Dae-hyun was studying about aviation/aeronautics. The two were from very different worlds but they were both in love. They married later, when Dae-hyun finished and passed his aviation tests and became a pilot. Yunhee was working to have her own dress shop which became a reality thanks to Dae-hyun's help. The shop was named, "Lotus & Beauty". Everything seemed to be going perfectly well - even more so when Kyung-mi was born into the happy family.

Dae-hyun and Yunhee treasured their first child and baby daughter and Kyung-mi grew up in a pretty loving environment - it was her light-filled world, so she has never really experienced anything traumatic or "dark" as a child. Thanks to her mother's love for dresses, arts and crafts and creating patterns here and there; Kyung-mi was, at an early age, exposed to "lady-like" characteristics. She wanted to be just like her mother, who was a sweet, gentle and softspoken lady - an old-fashioned woman. She thought it was admireable because people liked her - and just like any other human being, Kyung-mi wanted to be liked. But alas, she had not only inherited Yunhee's talent in the arts but also her father's outgoing and busybody personality. Kyung-mi grew up surrounded by mannequins and beautiful dresses fit for them - she thought she could be just like that and have people admire her as well. She wanted to be someone's model, just like how her mother was to her. Kyung-mi's the best of both worlds and has been trying her best to balance herself to become the "perfect lady" so that she will have the "perfect future" and she'll meet her "perfect prince".

An Dae-hyun | 52 | Father | Pilot | OC | He's very childish and outgoing around her, just like with his wife. He'll try to make her laugh and to make her feel like she was 5 years old again. Kyung-mi would play along sometimes, but then again, Kyung-mi's close to graduating high school and sometimes, she will get tired. He's just very protective of his one and only daughter and sometimes refuses to believe that she's growing up so fast. He's a tender-hearted appa.

An Yunhee | 50 | Mother | Seamstress and Owner of "Lotus & Beauty" | OC | Yunhee is Kyung-mi's role model and ideal mother/woman. Yunhee and Kyung-mi have a very close relationship and Yunhee usually teaches Kyung-mi a lot of things about arts & crafts and dress-making. She's a passive and gentle mother with inhuman patience. She finds Kyung-mi's life goal of becoming the "perfect lady" a bit silly, but she'll chuckle softly at her daughter and cheer her on.

Song 'Victoria' Qian | 23 | Best friend | Idol [f(x)] | She and Kyung-mi are like sisters, with Victoria being the elder one. Victoria is usually seen taking care of Kyung-mi, making sure she's fine especially since the girl's a natural busybody (it's in her blood to be a busybody). Victoria is the calmer one of the pair.

Son Dongwoon | 22 | Friend | Idol [BEAST] | He is Kyung-mi's self-proclaimed "brother" and usually likes to pester her with random jokes and topics. Personality: 

Kyung-mi is a beautiful, young girl. She is a hard worker; a responsible and self-conscious character. She is self-conscious because she wants others to see her as an elegant or graceful character, but sometimes, her busybody self makes this difficult for her to accomplish. She likes to take in work, mostly work meant for other people, because she's a perfectionist. She wants the work to be done properly and perfectly and so most people would simply leave her be and let her do everything. She has to balance her work with her own projected image - that she was calm, cool and collected despite the amount of work she has brought upon herself. She doesn't complain because she completely dedicates herself to whatever she does, however, she sometimes pents up the stress and anxiety in her - leading her to be very terrible when it comes to personal confrontations. She cannot handle drama to the emotional level because all she's ever done was face challenges with clear solutions and instructions. She finds her own feelings hard to work with - which is why she finds it easier to be "lady-like", to be elegant, because then, people will like her for being beautiful and graceful. 

She can be very sensitive with what others think about her and she would usually push herself to the limit to be what other people want her to be. Why would she do that? Because other than wanting to be liked, she wanted to be "perfect" - and receive external praise. She likes it when people praise her because then it feels that her hard work and having to deal with her inner anxiety by herself would be worth it - because she is being accepted by others. Kyung-mi dislikes disorganization and chaos in her surroundings and will go into an almost obsessive-compulsive state to fix things. Kyung-mi also dislikes routine work, she wants change and something new everyday because having something new everyday allows her to grow, and for her, growing means learning and learning is the start of practice and practice could lead to perfection.

When it comes to love, Kyung-mi is actually unsure of it. She doubts herself because she hasn't reached that "perfection" she had dreamed to be since she was a little girl. Deep down though, she yearns for that person who could accept her not only for her beautiful facade but the anxious and insecure self within her that yearns for attention.

Kyung-mi would want to do a lot in her life. As mentioned in her background, she would want to do things that will lead her to a "perfect future".

Kyung-mi would want to travel to anywhere - a random place - since she likes to walk and she likes to travel, but she would want to do so with her "perfect prince".

Love Interest: Park Chanyeol | EXO-K

Personality: 

Chanyeol is the resident "happy virus". He is naturally well-liked by others because of his natural happiness, shyness and friendly aura. He takes things easy and is humble or gentle, despite having that deep voice (it's probably one of his insecurities apart from his ears). He's a clumsy fellow, because of his height, so he often moves around awkwardly. His awkwardness would often lead him to make a mess out of things, but he would usually just laugh it off and leave it like that. 

How did/will you meet?: 

Chanyeol and Kyung-mi met when Chanyeol made a mess in the art room and a part of the mess was Kyung-mi's own projects. Chanyeol apologized, of course, and tried to fix things (only to make them worse) and while the others were laughing at him for his clumsiness and adorable attempt to make things better, Kyung-mi disliked him and his carefree attitude. The thought, "How could he smile like that after all he did?!" would run through Kyung-mi's mind as she would observe the lanky idiot.

Relationship: 

Chanyeol is shy around her after what he did back in the art room, but does like her (whether it's a crush or what, I'll leave it to you, author-nim~! But he could just find her pretty XD). Kyung-mi on the other hand dislikes him and wants nothing to do with him because he seems to attract plenty of bad luck and clumsy acts wherever he goes. Chanyeol's very persistent and would eventually move Kyung-mi to laugh at him, especially as he tries hard to make her laugh (by making a fool out of himself). At the same time, Chanyeol would slowly come to realize that the hard working lifestyle Kyung-mi does isn't that bad at all and he admires her for that. 

If they do get together, Chanyeol would eventually see that Kyung-mi isn't exactly the "perfection" most people assumed she was. Chanyeol would have to contend to the fact that out in the public, Kyung-mi has an image she has to maintain so they have to showcase that for her to feel secure - although he will try to help her realize that being herself is already "perfection" for him. (based on the chosen song for them)

How do you interact?:

Chanyeol would try to strike a conversation with the elegant beauty, but Kyung-mi would usually scold him and rant out all the wrong things he did in class or wherever they are. Chanyeol would simply shrug it off, of course, and this would irk Kyung-mi further.

 

Back Up Love Interest: Do 'D.O.' Kyungsoo | EXO-K

Age/Birthdate: 18 years old | January 12, 1994

Personality: 

D.O. is a very gentle character. He is polite and likes to make others feel good about themselves - making him very loveable. He's shy and softspoken and genuinely works hard to, just like Kyung-mi, have other people like him. But unlike Kyung-mi, he usually makes a mess out of things. He's adorably clumsy with whatever he does and he has a tendency to apologize and smile the troubles away. His wide-eyes and pure smile make him some kind of innocent character.

How did/will you meet?:

D.O. and Kyung-mi would have bumped against each other thanks to Kyung-mi being called by another group of students to ask for help. Naturally, the perfectionist in her would scream to go and help out and so that's exactly what she did. She would have bumped into D.O. and he would apologize - only to be caught off-guard with her elegant beauty. His wide eyes didn't go unnoticed and Kyung-mi would've felt uncomfortable being stared at like that. Once again, D.O. would apologize for what he had done and would ask if she was all right. She explains that she is and politely excuses herself but D.O. was curious and follows her.

Relationship:

D.O. and Kyung-mi have a more peaceful relationship - they're like acquaintances. Kyung-mi may dislike D.O.'s clumsy tendencies but she appreciates his hard work - though she can't help but notice that he seems a bit awkward doing most of the work. 

How do you interact?:

D.O. would be very shy around Kyung-mi and he would fidget a lot. Kyung-mi would sense the awkward atmosphere between them and would try to run away from it, since she wouldn't know what to do in such a situation (there's no manual out there to teach one what to do in an awkward situation with a wide-eyed student... not to her knowledge at least XD). But D.O. would follow after her because he finds her pretty and he also likes how perfectly she does whatever she does.

Kyung-mi is hesitant at first but when she sees Chanyeol trying by himself (and being incredibly bad at it), she is frustrated at the "imperfection" and decides to begrudgingly help him out. Turns out that the two actually end up having a good time together, eventually doing different kinds of stuff together rather than the actual project
` Kyung-mi is finally overcome with the pressures of being the "perfect" girl in school and enters a state of catharsis, crying by herself at first. Chanyeol sees her and comforts her (a hug maybe? *rolls* >////<)
