Reading Spree

Now that my finals are over, the reading spree starts.

Why? Because I desperately want to improve my writing and vocabulary. I want to write fluently by taking the books I read as examples. I mentioned about a certain person that makes me wanna cry by reading his stories and had thought of making him my so-called 'mentor'. That method is very risky because next year that person and I won't be in the same class, so it'll be hard for us to communicate and continue our 'student-mentor' relationship.

So, I came up with an idea. I can read loads of books and learn from there! I'll read stories of all genres(except pure romance though. I just can't take it cus it makes me feel uncomfortable reading it. and not to forget adult stories, too) that I can obtain from the school library, friends and home. My dad has loads of books. Weird books which I think people my age would not even look at (since the plot and writing is mature- and when I mean mature, I mean stories about life, businesses and ongoing issues in the world). I think I might start to indulge in them soon.

I can write some stuff that comes in my mind randomly and show it to my friends instead for comments and critics. Yes! That's another way! No need any mentor!

Okay, for now, I had just finished one book that I had bought on Saturday during my outing with friends. I have three more books to go, four if included my Form 5 literature novel, more if the books that I will borrow from my friend gets in my hands soon.

Though I admit I was pretty slow(six days for 450++ pages- I bet some of you are dismissing me as a snail because you can read so much faster than I do) but it was due to my school activities. I go to school at 7 in the morning and come back at about 4 in the afternoon. I come home and find that I'm too tired to do anything and just watch tv or fangirl. And now that I have a science innovation and invention competition coming(where I have to go all the way to KL to find some of the parts for my invention/innovation), I have lesser and lesser time. But I will be free! Free once 20th of November ends!!

However, that's not the end of the story. On the 29th of November, I have to drag myself to the school once again. Shizz.

Life will never be still. I have to find time!!
