Janus is a god of beginnings and transitions from Roman mythology. He's usually two-faced cause he looks to the future & the past.

The song tells about a guy not wanting to show himself crying to his girlfriend when the girl is breaking up with him(?). He wants to hide his bad feelings from her, & doesn't want to show tears to her. He wants her to remember his face with a smile on it. Thus, he's being "two-faced".

I think the title is very clever :] Not mentioned, but it relates to the lyrics.
