Personality: Jihyun is the awkward and introverted girl. She is the girl that sits in the back of the class with her glasses/frames always staring out of the window day dreaming. If you approach she has a look in her eyes, she looks like a deer caught in headlights because she is frightened of people talking to her. Because she only has one friend she isn't exactly the social butterfly. If you talk to her she wouldn't say much, she will just nod or shake her head. Once you keep speaking she will eventually stop nodding and say short sentences like "yeah" or "me too". It's because she has always been the girl no-one notices.
She likes to talk and mutter to herself occasionally. Because of her wallflower personality she is someone who knows a lot of things and notices things other people don't notice. she can read people like a book. she can always predict their mext move. Background:
The Shin family grew up in seoul, South korea. They grew up in middle-class family. The lived in a small and quiet town in Seoul but she went to school in the city where a lot of people lived. Her parents and grandparents own a small family business by selling and repairing shoes. They had only one child. On her fathers side, they had a small famliy where there were a lot of only children, but on her mother's side there are a lot of children. On her father's side, her father grew up in a richer family and his family didn't approve of her mother's family who owned a small shoe shop. But they married and their families accepted each other.
When Ji Hyun was 13, she discovered a talent for dancing and singing. She really liked singers like DBSK, Big bang, Super Junior and Jewelry. Secretly she would use her allowance and pay for dance and vocals lessons and only her mother knew about this because her father wanted her to become a businesswoman or something. She then auditioned for SM and performed Destiny's Child's 'Stand up for love'.
