How do Poster Shops work?

Hey! I know this might sound stupid but I would like to know how posters shops work.

I have seen many fanfics that their posters are made by Poster Shops, but what I still don't understand is "How do they pay them?"

I mean, if you want someone to make your poster, Do you have to pay that person? and in that case, How do you pay them?

You do not have to pay real money to get a poster for your fanfic. Also, they are not called "poster shops" because "it sounds cool", they are called poster shops because the whole program is similar to shops/shopping.
You have to fill out a form which provides all of the information for what you want on your poster. You can specify everything and the designer will make the poster for you free of charge. However, some shops require that you pay a certain amount of karma points, but it is usually only 5 points or under.

U dont pay them.
If you do,its usually karma thier looking for.
They just call it poster shop cuz it sounds cool.
