Brief Personality: Jin Ae is not loud but also not quiet.  She likes to mind her own business and tends to not get involve with other people’s affair.   When someone does something wrong like give an attitude or causes problem to others, she tends to hold off on intervening.  She likes to wait until it gets out of control and then just explodes with all the mistakes/problems that the person did. When she does this, she is not a nice gal anymore.  She would release all the anger she had to cause that person some shame at the least.  She is basically blunt when she’s mad or gets anger.  But when you are on her nice side, she doesn’t get involve with your problems.  She likes having others deal with their own problem.  She hates it when other people’s problems become her because it makes her life so much harder.  She keeps her feelings in check and for herself.  She doesn’t like people meddling into her problems or her personal life.  She’s scared of being betrayed.  When she was 16, she met one of her brother’s childhood friends and they soon started dated without any interrogation or problems from the family.  After 5 years of dating and an engagement, she got her heart broken when he left her at the alter to marry his decease older brother’s fiancé to save his family company.

Family Background: Jin Ae comes from a middle class family.  She is the 3^rd child and only daughter to Lee Minwoo and Lee (Han) Chaerim.  Her father is a surgeon while her mother is now a stay home mom.  She has two older brothers who are protective of her and a younger brother.  Her two older brothers were born in Seoul but she and her younger brother were born in Kyoto.  Her family moved to Kyoto two years before she was born for a change in scenery but they moved back to Seoul when she was 15 years.  Jin Ae does not keep in contact with any of her relatives from either her mom or dad side because both sides were against the parents marrying. 

Family members: Lee Minwoo l 50 l surgeon l oc l He is Jin Ae’s father and a very protective one.  He cares deeply for his family and doesn’t restrict them from who they want to date because of past experiences.  Even though he is a surgeon and doesn’t have much time to spend with the family, he would try his best to attend school events and such with the children.

 

Lee (Han) Chaerim l 49 l stay home mom l oc l Chaerim is Jin Ae’s mother and can have a childish personality sometimes.  She’s soft-spoken and is always the one to put an end to arguments.  She would rather see her children find their happiness than do the job for them, which is why she is always lecturing her sons about trying to scare away guys from their sister.

 

Lee Taehyun l  29 l lawyer l oc l Jin Ae’s oldest brother.  Out of the three brothers, even though he’s the oldest, he is also the most mature of the three.  He talks with reason and logic most of the time which is why sometimes the siblings get angry at him.  He works for one of the best law firm in Seoul and is marry with a daughter.  He has a black belt in aikido and a 6-dan in kendo.  He along with Donghyuk can be scary if you hurt any of their love ones.

 

Lee Donghyuk l 26 l viticulture l oc l Jin Ae’s second older brother.  He’s the least mature when it comes to Jin Ae and boys trying to come near her.  He would interrogate them to the point they never contact Jin Ae or come near her again.  He’s deeply protective of her because she is the only girl.  He just recently got married and is now living on his grape farm for wine making in Wonju in the Gangwon Province.  Even though when it comes to his sister and family, he can be protective and immature at times, when it comes to his business, he should not be taken lightly.  He can be scary when someone messes with him since he has a black belt in Karate and Judo.

 

Lee Minhyun l 16 l high school student l oc l The youngest in the family and the baby.  Even though he is the youngest, he is smart and mature for his age. He is now the top of his class and hoping to attend Seoul University once he graduates.  Unlike his two brothers, he’s more lay back.  He doesn’t care who Jin Ae is involve with in a relationship but once that person does something to hurt Jin Ae in any way, he can be the demon of your dream.  He is trained archer with a kyu rank and is going to get his black belt in karate soon.

Bestfriend(s): Park Eunmi l 24 l fashion designer l oc l Friends with Jin Ae since they were babies, she and her are like sisters from a different mother.  Eunmi is half-japanese with her mother being Japanese.  She moved to Seoul when she was 10, 5 years before Jin Ae’s family moved back.  Very creative when it comes to her work and others, she has a blank mind when it comes to help herself. 

 

Song Haneul l 24 l nurse l oc l Haneul was first friends with Eunmi when Eunmi first move to Korea.  After Jin Ae moved back, all three became good friends and even closer as best friend.  She used to date Donghyuk in the past; the relationship lasted for 4 years but they broke up due to problems with her family.  Now she tries to avoid confrontation with Donghyuk as much as possible for the awkwardness.  As a nurse, she tries to spend as much time with at work to forget about what happen between her and Donghyuk.
