{The Long or the Short of It

Personality :

Beimi is someone who is spontanious and witty. She always has determination in her eyes. She is someone who speaks freely and is always on point. Of course she would love to be right all the time, but Beimi will back down if she knows she's wrong. She can easily manipulate you with her sly words and remarks. She likes to keep people on their toes. Beimi can come across as mysterious and y. She never gives away too much or too little. She is very intelligent and always improvises on the spot. She isn't always the bright crayon but she can sure make you think she is. Beimi is the type that is understanding and always listens before she does anything. Being a quick learner and having great logic skills, you could get anywhere with her. Her observant side also comes in handy when you need it.

Behind Beimi's wall, she is actually a soft hearted person. She doesn't like when people gang up on others. She thinks its childish. Beimi is very open minded and accepts anyone regardless how you talk, look, or whatever. She isn't the type to like being hurt either emotionally or physically. Just because she doesn't like to get hurt doesn't mean she makes butterflies and rainbows. Beimi just tries to avoid those things. Whenever your concerned with something, you can always count on Beimi to be there. She cares for others before herself and always tries to stay strong. Even though she is weak on the inside, Beimi puts on a good front. She doesn't like to share her emotions unless your very close and she trusts you. If you didn't ask, then she doesn't say. Beimi doesn't like to open her feelings because she feels like it would be a burden and an embarrassment on her part. Everything she puts on the outside of herself would be crushed because her true feelings are sincere and deep.

There's always another side to a person as you know. Beimi's anger doesn't easily come out, but when it does, you better run. She isn't the type to be pushed around. She does what she wants and clearly goes by her own rules. When she's in a heated argument, anything comes out of and she won't even remember what she said. That's a flaw of hers. Sometimes she may say things she really doesn't mean. When she's upset, she throws a little tantrum and gets over it after awhile. I think the best thing to do is not talk to her for a little while until she cools off. The more you nudge her about it, the more she will get angry. She's the type to always remember what you say and will never let you forget. She believes that there are two types of anger. If she's upset, she'll get over it later. If she's burning on the inside, then she hates you..you better not look, touch, or be near her. Lets put it this way; if looks could kill, you'd be dead within a split second. Don't worry though, she has a little patience............I said a little.

Besides every point, Beimi is quite different. She is serendipitous and tries to think positive. She doesn't like to worry others so she covers it up by trying to make up a helpful lie. She always tries to think realistically. She isn't the bubbly type but she'll keep you entertained by being herself. People usually love her quirky and smart attitude since it brings them a bit of entertainment. As much as she likes being around people, Beimi is an independent woman. She does things on her own and she can make it on her own. Help would be great, but if she was alone, she could survive. Speaking of, I think we just found another flaw. Beimi always thinks she can do things by herself or on her own. Even if she needs the help, she won't admit. She isn't someone who wants to ask for major help.

If you stick around long enough, you get to see the crazy side of her. Beimi loves to have fun and tries to enjoy everything she can. She doesn't like being a party pooper and always tries to drag people into some fun time. Beimi isn't a party animal per say, but she does enjoy it from time to time. Beimi likes to make jokes and playfully tease others. She isn't quiet and she isn't the boisterous type. She tends to shine through the crowd though. Whenever there is excitement, Beimi is somehow in the middle of it. She is someone you would call a social butterfly. If you want to know something about another person, she'll tell you all about them. She likes befriending others and enjoying company.

Even if she's filled with all these dramas inside herself, she's just a human. Everyone has emotions. Beimi battles with herself for being the way she is at times, but she understands that being her is one of a kind. With her witty mouth and flirtatious attitude, people either hate her or love her for who she is.

Background :

Before the flesh eating creatures came alive, Beimi grew up in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was Chinese and her father was Korean. Her childhood was actually quite normal until she turned 12. Her parents had gotten a divorce and her father went back to Korea while her mother went back to China. It was pretty rough because she had to travel every other month. They put her in home school since she was constantly on the move. Despite having to travel, Beimi managed to make friends in both countries.

At 16, Beimi grew tired of traveling. She had to put her foot down. Beimi had decided to stay in Korea since she wanted to study there. Her mother of course disapproved but it didn't stop Beimi. So, on her breaks, she would travel to China and hang out with everyone she knew. When Beimi returned to Korea, she had a home and school life. Her father enrolled her into a public school by then. She began having way more friends than just a small group that stuck around her. Beimi was a good student and ranked within the top 5. She was voted most likely to be successful. And indeed she was.

At 18, she was accepted into Seoul National University. Beimi studied to be a translator and learned many different languages during her first year. At 19, she was recommended for being an international translator for Korea's private meeting with Taiwan. They let her work for the meeting and was surprised by how well she did. After that day, she was hired as the translator. Of course she didn't quit school, but whenever they had a meeting in Korea, they used her.

Everything was going great for her. Beimi had a great job in which she was passionate about, she was going to a great college, she had great friends, and her crush liked her back. Everything was most likely set for her......until the world decided to ruin it.

Apocalypse Story :

On the day of the apocalypse, Beimi was rushing in down town Seoul to get to her job. There was a meeting going on with Korea and Thailand. Beimi settled down in her seat as she got ready to translate. She was already upset that she was a bit late and people were scolding her with their eyes. During the meeting, Beimi noticed that some people were coughing and spitting into their napkins. She didn't think anything of it since the weather was getting a little cold. After about an hour, someone started coughing up blood on the other side of the room. The meeting came to a hault as the security men quickly escorted the person out. After that scene, everyone in the room became paranoid. Not long after, another person started coughing up blood. The meeting couldn't continue. Everyone was told to come back for the meeting the next morning. Beimi sighed and left. She was on her way to the elevator when she heard a scream coming from the men's bathroom. A man came out yelling, "He bit me! Someone arrest him!" Everyone huddled around the area and was greeted by the first guy who was escorted out earlier. He was pale and constantly grunted. A woman standing no farther than 5 feet was suddenly bitten by the man, Everyone began to shreik and rushed to get out. Beimi quickly brushed pass the chaotic scene and ran into the elevator. As she walked home, she saw the same thing with people on the streets. The people she passed were either running or being grabbed. Beimi was confused at what was going on. Beimi managed to gather up courage and ran home. When she opened her door, her father was sitting on the couch, worried. He stood up and quickly shut the door behind her. He had scolded her for not answering her phone earlier. As he was doing so, Beimi noticed a bandage on his right arm. She asked what it was and he answered that he was bitten by their neighbor when he was taking out the trash. It then clicked, something wasn't right. Beimi the tv and decided to listen to the news. Her worst nightmare had just begun. The main story was about the apocalypse. Everything came crashing down as she knew that her father would become one of those flesh eating creatures. They both sat on the couch and cried, holding onto each other for dear life. Without a word, Beimi's father disappeared into his room and came back. He held out a gun and asked that Beimi put him to rest once he became a different person. Beimi refused at first but was assured that it was for the best. Beimi tied up her father on a chair as he began to grow pale. After an hour of crying and talking to her father, he finally left the world, leaving only his body. She quickly held the gun up to him as she shook uncontrollably. A couple minutes passed by..and then his body slowly began to awake. Beimi knew it wasn't her father anymore. The last words that left her lips were "I love you appa." She had pulled the trigger before resting lifeless on the floor. Nothing stung more than having to say good bye to her father like that.

After the separation of her parents, her father went back to Korea and her mother moved back to China. She ended up staying with her father since she wanted to go to school in Korea.

Main Weapon :

Beimi took out the blade from a big kitchen knife and tied it to a long metal stick and also uses a machete. She has her father's gun which is a glock g17 but doesn't use it unless she desperately needs to.

Found By : Beimi was found by Chen.

Location : Beimi used her attic as her hideout. She would cautiously come down and get what she needs and quickly rush up her attic. There's a small window that can open wide enough for her to get out if she needed to escape.

Reaction : Beimi was afraid and alarmed because she didn't trust anyone. She was relieved at the same time because she had been alone for awhile.

Willingness : At first Beimi hesitated because she knew that groups attracted the creatures. She ended up joining because she knew that being alone wasn't a safe choice either.

How well do you get along? :

For Beimi's part, she is someone who is very social. She likes to talk a lot and can yap the night away. Kris is more awkward because she is the type to be lively verses him being dull.lol He sometimes gets annoyed with her but finds her interesting. Beimi enjoys his company but knows that Kris doesn't like her always talking and being outgoing. Kris especially doesn't like when he's in his own little world and Beimi ends up interrupting it. At first they were just light chatting. Then, it just became more of an annoying friend thing (Kris gets a little annoyed with her.) Afterwards, he becomes intrigued by her so he ends up wanting to know more about her. She always playfully teases him and he jokes around with her as well. They SOMETIMES have heart to heart talks which makes them grow closer.

Lay and Beimi don't say much to each other. They know each other is around but they don't really bother to talk much. He knows that she's more outgoing and talkative and he's a bit more on the shy side so he doesn't say much to her. Beimi tries to make small talk with him but the conversation doesn't really go anywhere much because he barely says much.
