In one-shots you don't spend a lot of time explaining back ground information. It's like a small, intense or cute or whatever part of a story but there's no story. It can also be someone's thoughts or something. They don't have to be happy but they just need to be short and intense. For example, you could do something about why a famous person likes his girlfriend or something... I hope this helps! :)
