You should watch Clannad! It's such an emotional anime and it's so cuteeee~

Special a(manga and anime but anime is better) oh wow this was the funniest anime ever. Heaps better than kaichou wa maid sans albeit with similar features.

Full moon wo saga____e. Saddest yet sweetest thing ever. I cried buckets but fell in love with it. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT!!!!

The only manga I've watched is Dai Mahō-Tōge and...
idk. I don't even know why I watched it.

I like Taiyou No Ie (manga) a lot and Code Geass which is my all time favorite(anime) and then there's Ano Hana (anime) which is amazing and there's Ouran High School Host Club (anime&manga) which you've probably heard of. Then Kimi Ni Todoke (anime&manga) and Hiyokoi (manga) and Mawaru Penguin Drum (anime) and Gosick (anime&manga) and Last Game (manga)

I can recommend some more but that is what I can think of so far.

everything mentioned is a manga, but nurarihyon no mago, kaichou wa maid sama and ao no exorcist became an anime ^^
