Losing myself in between time,

A new bead of sweat down my chin,

Stuck in a stand still dimension,

Missing what of a simple chance,

Hoping for a simple rush,

To stop the pointless wait.

Handpicked from a stack of cards,

This is the life I own,

A never ending twist,

This is the path I took,

To be where you will be forever,

This is the destiny I chose.

If my dream is of a tiny spark,

Your hopes are of a brilliant sun,

My fate is a slip of chance,

When your life is a grand gift,

Will I be Cinderella?

I shall dance through the hurricane,

For each step takes me closer,

Each pain makes me an equal,

Every tear makes me sincere,

And every struggle makes me visible.

I of the forest and you of the heavens,

My wishes are dismal,

My gifts meaningless,

My efforts are futile,

For I can only squeak while you sing.

But there is a will that I have,

Greater and more powerful,

The one will that I can prove,

The one will that I hold in me,

For I have love,

The will of love.

This was supposed to be in my fanfic *Remember The Forgotten* but I didn't know how to put it in so I wrote it here instead.
