Personality:
The Arrogance: Jei is arrogant and pompous; she loves to show off and she loves challenging herself. Her ability to learn new things is what feeds her arrogance and she isn't shy about letting everyone know. She's loud and she feels that her opinion is very important in any situation. Her cockiness rivals that of a boy's and she prides herself in this. She hates ist comments and she strives to prove the wrong. Despite being overbearingly pompous she is also determined and sticks to what she believes. Nevertheless, always expect a self-absorbed comment from Jei even if she is just kidding. Though she wants to believe she is the best at everything deep down she knows she will never be the best and she has a bit of a low self-esteem issue which contrasts to hre arrogant exterior.
The Playfulness: Jei loves fun and games; laughing is an exercise and daily occurence for her. Sometimes, she finds funny things to laugh at or do just to satisfy her craving for a nonboring things such as watching comedies, going out with friends or the such. She is the jokester amongst her friends and never fails at being hilarious--another thing she takes immense pride in. Being funny is definitely something she excels at. She's awkward around boys who aren't her family and she has never been in an intimate relationship, despite, her awkwardness around the male species she makes friends with everybody and as she says 'is the most popular person ever'. She's a bit weird and she loves to make unneccassary comments to lighten the atmosphere and she makes weird noises, akin to squeaking, sqwaking, and squealing.
The Mood: Jei can be happy one minute, sad the next, or downright furious the next one. Her parents thought she had ADD or bipolar disorder; this was just the way she is. She is incredibly impatient and can't be trusted to do anything meticulous and time consuming. She is known to have broken, and ruined, things before in her haste to finish them. When she is starting to get impatient she gets this itch in her back that crawls around and she gets so easily frustrated she wants to scream. When she is angry her heart races unbelievably fast and she usually rants and curses. She hops around squeals when she is happy and her face scrunches up when she is sad and about to cry. When she is confronted her forehead starts to burn a bit and she fights to keep her gaze steady for fear of being found lying. When she has something new she loses it fast because of her disinterest in it a minute later and her interest in something else.
The Adventurer: Jei can't sit still and is always moving; whether it is fidgeting or downright walking and pacing. She loves going to different countries and new places and she loves exploring. She likes trying new things and she is always experimenting with food or clothes or whatnot. She gets annoyed when her friends opt for the normal or the usual and she whines. She loves dragging her friends to new places to see new things and to meet new people. In this front, you could say she is brave because she isn't afraid to try new things and meet new people. She is very social and loves being around people.
Background:
Jei was adopted by her mother's family when she was sixteen years old and her father seventeen. That was the story anyway, really, Jei was found a block from their house. Her real adoptive parents were taking a walk around the block, the ever romantic duo, when they heard a whimper from a basket and when they pulled the covers back they found a little red-faced baby girl. Her real adoptive parents were both fifty-one and fifty-two, respectively, when she was adopted.
Her parents died when she was five in a car crash on their way to their 35th wedding anniversary dinner. Her sister was already an adult by then and engaged to her high school boyfriend of four years. The social service took Jei away and into their system for a bit until her sister came and adopted her with the help of her, then, fiancee.
Her new parents, Sungmi, and Junhyun, raised her from then on. When she was six, a year after she started living with her sister/new mom, her little brother was born. Though she knew Sungmi as her sister before, she changed her mindset and started calling her mom. Her mother never corrected her and, even when the neighborhood ladies gossiped about how young she was when she gave birth to Jei, treated her as her own daughter.
After her younger brother, her parents never had any more kids--instead, her mother opened up a bakery and they bought a dog. They were any typical family--a girl, a boy, two parents, and a dog. She graduated from high school with good grades but had her merits dropped because of her trouble making ways. She tried really hard not to give her mom a difficult time but she couldn't help it--goofing off was in her blood. At least, that's what she always told herself.
Her cocky attitude is from her father. Her father was very popular and high school and his ego followed him through his life. He was smart, atheltic, and had the prettiest girl in school as his girlfriend, turned wife. When he found out about his wife's younger sister, at first, he didn't want to adopt her because he wanted to start his own family. After a few months, however, both he and his wife felt guilty about not taking her in and thus, adopted her from the system.
Jei and her younger brother were like two peas in a pod. Jei always had an immense love for children and because her younger brother was so much younger than her--she babied him a lot. They often slept in the same toom and she always read him bed time stories to help him sleep better. When she came home from school she always brought him a little treat that she picked up on the way home.
Recently, Jei graduated from high school and is taking a year's break to help her mother out at her increasingly popular bakery to steal some pastries and earn some spending money. She works every day with her mom trying to teach her to bake. Jei normally mans the register as she is really too lazy to learn how to mae puff pastries and such.
Likes:
1. Children ; she loves children because of their small bodies, chubby faces, and innocent fun-loving personalities.
2. Books ; reading is her favorite pastime and she loves getting herself lost in the book world.
3. Drama ; watching people fight over petty things amuses her but when things get out of hand she always steps in and plays peacemaker.
4. Movies ; watching movies is her second favorite pastime and she often sits and watches five movies at once.
5. Fashion ; she loves fashion--she enjoys putting together outfits and sketching out potential ones.
Dislikes:
1. Cockroaches ; she hates their bodies, their clicking noises, the way they fly and the hairy legs.
2. Dirty places ; she hates being around mud, mold, or dirty alleys--she immediately gets the creepy crawlies and she shivers.
3. Exercise ; Jei is a bit lazy and she doesn't like getting sweaty if it isn't necessary.
4. Naggers ; she gets annoyed easily and she really dislikes it when someone is hounding her to do something.
5. Thieves ; what's hers is hers. She doesn't like when people take it without permission.
Habits:
1. Squealing ; Jei squeals and squawks when she is excited, happy, or bored.
2. Face-making ; she makes faces according to her mood. She may scowl, sneer, or pout. Her most prominent facial expression is pushing her chin back into her neck and making a duck face when she is bored and wants to look weird.
3. Saying 'yawn' and 'stretch' ; when she stretches she often says yawn instead of strech by accident--often uttering 'yaaawn oops i meant stretch.' It has been a habit ever since she wa slittle and she was asking her father what yawn meant. Her father taught her by demonstrating and she's been doing it ever since.
4. Lip peeling ; her lips are prone to dryness and she often peels them leaving them sore and hurting.
5. Eye rubbing ; her eyes get irritated easily and she is always seen scratching or rubbing her eye area.
Hobbies:
1. Online shopping ; when she's saved up enough money she often goes online shopping as it is easier and she's too lazy to go out sometimes.
2. Sneaking food from her mom's bakery ; when her mom isn't looking she often sneaks a bunch of pastries from the store and runs from the store with her tail in between her legs whether or not she succeeds.
3. Baking bread ; if there's one thing she's learned from her mom--its baking bread and pizza. It's a weekly tradition in the Kim household.
4. Cooking ; she enjoys cooking more than baking because baking is a lot more technical then cooking is. She failed chemistry and physics in high school.
5. Computer surfing ; she calls this research. When she sees something interesting she spends hours on end learning about what it is. Be it a manga series, a movie, a book series, a clothing line, actresses, etc.
Trivia:
1. Pee ; much to her chagrin when she was a young girl Jei has peed her pants before--multiple times before she was eight.
2. Boy-like ; she's pretty boy-like because of her father and brother's influences. Her mother always, in vain, tried to get Jei to shape up and be more of a lady.
3. Cheese ; Jei loves dairy products but cheese is her favorite. Her mother's cheesecakes and cheese-filled breads always go missing when she's around.
4. Yogurt ; she loves yogurt. The fresh, creamy, almost sour like quality of it is refreshing and she can down five cups in ten minutes.
5. Harry Potter ; Jei is an avid fan of Harry Potter and she stalks the series like a serial stalker. She owns all the movies and the books.
6. Color ; Jei is very fascinated by colors and she even owns a scrapbook called the 'colorbook' which she uses to glue in things of pretty colors that she came across.
7. Rant ; when Jei is frustrated her mad she often rants about it. She can go on for hours about the same thing.
8. Winter ; is her favorite weather. It's the only weather where she isn't sweating all the time.

Relationship with your destined pair: Chanyeol is playful but unlike Jei, he isn't arrogant; he gets a bit put off by her cockiness but he enjoys spending time with her because of her fun-loving nature. Jei enjoys spending time with Chanyeol, as well because she doesn't get along quite well with quiet people--or boring people as she would call them. Chanyeol is the opposite in the self-esteem department when it comes to Jei; he knows he is good but he doesn't voice it--he is a bit shy at first and wouldn't dare be as loud as Jei is.
