Cheerful, Optimistic, Humorous. Everything about her is like sunshine. JaYeon has a really bright and cute smile, something that makes others want to smile too. Having high-cheek bones, looking like a chipmunk at times, she uses aegyo that works on most adults and friends. The best part of her personality is that she loves to help others. Regardless whether in academic, dance, language etcetera.
JaYeon is also a good listener. She is always there for her friends, whether the sun is shining, or the rain is falling. Her friends trusts her and tells her all their secrets. Her little bad habit is that she would often, accidentally slip out parts of the secrets to someone else. Despite that, her friends still trusts her.
Sometimes, she is mistaken as a little rude girl. For her love of using sarcasm which she considers as one of her language, people who doesn't get the sarcasm in her words often take her as being rude. At those times, JaYeon would apologise, and explain clearly it was just her being sarcastic.

JaYeon's parents had decided to move to Singapore, where it is really safe when she was just found in her umma's womb. They wanted her to grow up, study in a safe environment; some where without Earthquakes, Tsunamis or Wars happening; Singapore. She studied in a elementary school for rich kids, where she made many friends, fake and real ones. JaYeon experienced ups and downs, dealing with all the betrayers in her group of friends etc. She first got into Hallyu Wave when she was in 5th Grade. Learning many things from the Hallyu Stars, she decided that she would audition in the future.
JaYeon's first step to the stardom was when she was in 7th Grade. The 2nd Season of tVn CUBE Entertainment Audition was taking place in Singapore. Due to exams, JaYeon did not have time to prepare hence, she only finished learning her dance on the day of the audition itself. Because of the last minute finish, she did not pass the audition. Honestly, she was disappointed but was more than determined to become the next Hallyu star.
When JaYeon was in her 8th Grade, her parents decided to move back to Korea, Busan. Still trying to adapt to the environment and culture, JaYeon joined the International School. She was a popular girl as she could speak multiple languages. She could speak basic Japanese as she took it as a third language back in Singapore, during her 7th Grade. During her winter breaks, JaYeon was all ready to audition, this time, to Woollim Entertainment. As what she had expected after all the hard work put in, she passed the audition, becoming a trainee in the company.

Before EvoL debut, JaYeon and SAY use to go to the same Hip Hop Dance class. Being the top students, they often get into dance competitions, hoping to win each other. Most of the times, they draw.

how did you met:
As usual, JaYeon was glued in the dance studio, practicing her dance routines. Hoya went into the dance studio with headphones on, without knowing that the studio was already being used by a trainee. Hoya looked up to find JaYeon concentrating on her powerful street jazz dance moves. Wanting to join in the fun, Hoya steps in and joined JaYeon. JaYeon, realizing Hoya's presence, just smiled and continued. After that, they chatted for a while, and that's when they became dance buddies.

Cool, Shy. Hoya is just one of the coolest rapper and dancer. Showing his talents on stage, but off stage, he's just another shy boy. Unless he really wants you as a friend, he wouldn't even bother to talk to you. So, it's either he takes the first step, or you take the first step to be friends.

Sometimes shy and awkward but once they both starts dancing together, all their awkwardness disappears.

how did you met:
Because of his awkward dance ability as seen in the LG Dance CF, L was paired up with a trainee, JaYeon to practice dance together at least thrice a week. They were awkward but knew they had to work it out or it would be awkward forever. They both started opening up to each other, discovering more about each other, subsequently exchanging secrets. It was pretty hard to open up at first due to both of their a-bit-shy attitude.

Shy, Mysterious, Playful. This guys is just so shy and mysterious, full of secrets at first. But once you get close to him, you will see the playful side of him, irritating you, playing pranks and everything. He may seem like he has a lot of secrets inside him, but the truth is, he just has that not-a-lot of secrets.

They play pranks on each other almost everytime they meet. Sometimes, they would pour water on each other's head after dance sessions.

trainee life:
During her 2 years of training, she went through the most vocal trainings. Dance trainings were almost not needed for JaYeon due to her dance backgrounds. Her weakness would be Vocal and Modelling. She had to go through Vocal training 6 times a week, Modelling traning thrice a week. Her acting skills were quite okay hence, she only need to go through acting lessons 3 times a week. Also, she receives Rapping trainings 5 times a week as her trainer thinks that she has the potential of a rapper.
Sometimes, she feels lonely, Often, she would hide in her small dorm (where she lives alone) to cry. As her family are living in Busan, and she's in Seoul, JaYeon could hardly visit them. She would either cry or dance her heart out.
