Background story:

 Her family stayed in California for 13 years since she was born. Her father, the CEO of 'Holiday Hotel', was working in Korea and had passed away when she was twelve as he was rushing back to California to celebrate her mother's birthday. Her family and her self have gone through many difficulties after that incident and her mother promised that she would become someone succesful in the future just like her husband. Her brother, Junhee, and herself have been studying really hard, while their mother worked as a lady who sewed clothes to well-known designer in California. They went back to Korea and took over their 'Holiday Hotel' back, while Junhee passed the audition held by SM Ent and herself passing the audition held by JYP Ent.
