Too much Gangnam Style?

In the United States, well especially in my state and town, the most popular YouTube video has gotten around... EVERYONE is talking about it. EVERYONE is doing the dance. Everyone around my high school is always worried about being "in style" and NO ONE even knows what the song is really about! There are only a small group of my friends that are actual KPop fans and it really annoys us!! Are we the only ones who finds Oppa Gangnam Style being over-used by non-Kpop fans especially? Having international fans is such an honor and the artists should be proud, but having "fake fans" because of one comedic video is ridiculous. Sure they can like a song or video, but it bugs the heck out of me when they claim themselves as "international kpop fans" when they only know one song..... What is going on with this world?!

I know! People at my school are really crazy about it! Now they call themselves kpop psy fans! Ugh! Then after a few months or possibly weeks they will be like "Goodbye Gangnam! Hello~ New trend!" Pfft...talk about betrayal. Here in my country even dance it wrong!!! They scoot to the side...I'm like "You guys have seen the mv right?" and they're like "Yeah! It's so funny! I love the dance!"

If you love the mv so much then you probably would have to realize that you're dancing it wrong!!!

But I don't hate Psy.

I totally agree! It happens a lot in my school, and I hate it. The song is so over used now ~_~
