Story: 
Ryu was born in Seoul, Korea to a Korean father and a Japanese/Korean Mother. She lived averagely with her family. Since Ryu's family is multiracial, her parents taught her the languages that are apart of the family which are English and Japanese. She lived in Seoul for 7 years before moving to Tokyo, Japan because her dad wanted to open up a sushi restaurant there while her mom was transferred to a Japanese International School as a teacher. It was hard for her to fit in at first. She is awkward at everything but after meeting her mother's family and making some friends, she finally accept Japan. In Japan, she was a nerd. Getting good grades in academic and all. Her parents were expecting her to be a doctor or a lawyer.
She came back to Seoul, Korea at the age of 13. When she moved to Korea, she was attracted to all those Kpop groups and started to be addicted to it. Ryu starting to involved in singing and dancing in high school. Her teachers began to brush up her talents. But when her parents knew about it. They forbidden Ryu from entering all those Kpop stuff and just focus on studying. 
She was upset and decided to show her parents he talents. Ryu sang her parents favourite song at her dad's sushi restaurant (in Korea). Her parents were stunned and finally they accepted her talent and let her continue pursuing in music. Finally, she decided to audition for JYP. This was her first audition ever.

** They are very close. Ryu is her daddy's little girl. They always spent time together playing and joking around. But her dad is very strict towards her acdemic. He always wanted his daughter to be a doctor so when she chose to be a singer instead, he hated it but later he accept the fact.

** Ryu and her mom act like friends. Ryu will always come to her when she has problems or when she wanted advice. Her mom will be the only one that can me her feel at ease. Her mom is in charge of her personal lives.

Personality: 

Ryu is a very clueless and pretty much a blur person. She is very slow at catching up things especially in jokes. She is easily distracted especially when doing her work. She finds almost everything interesting and just abandons her work right away that makes her get into trouble lots of time. Ryu does talk a lot and she is very friendly but when it comes to talking, she just throws out everything that’s on her mind which is totally nonsense so that makes people think that she is super weird. She always does things first without thinking and gets into trouble.

Ryu’s image is just like MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, everytime she opens up something funny will come out. She also has a habit of boasting about what she is good at and ended up humiliating herself. Ryu is very straightforward in showing her emotions.  Ryu is never awkward with cameras or crowds or meeting lots of new people, she is kind of like an attention seeker.

Ryu is very emotional and sensitive. She cries a lot but it doesn’t last long. Ryu is very caring towards her friends. She will always make them laugh and take care of them like a mom. Nagging is a must! Her bad habit is she can come up with thousands of excuses when it comes to doing chores or when she makes any mistake. She is a genius when it comes to that. She is super competitive. When she sees other people are doing better than her, she'll work her out to outshine the person. Other than that she is totally forgetful so she always relies on her members and managers.

Lastly, one thing that you should know about her is she is very fond of love. She doesn’t mind how many times she had been cheated but she never did give up on love. When it comes to relationship, she doesn’t hold back, she is okay with sharing it to the public and that is a problem when she is in the halyu world. Ryu is romantic and very tolerate about everything.
