The Complicated College Relationships Part II

Yes, I understand that I just wrote the other one this morning, well at least it was morning for me, and now it's like 11 at night while I write this sentence. By the time that I post this it will probably be different, I'm very sure that it will be like midnight by the time I post it, but it's 11:06 now and that's all that matters.

But since I wrote the other one this morning, nothing much has happened, there has really been no difference, but because some people showed an interest in college life in general and also about my current situation, I thought that I'd dive a little deeper into my relationships with other people including the two that I mentioned in the earlier blog post and my "life story" as some might call it. Although, it might not be my entire life story because that is something that's quite long, unless people actually want to read my life story. I don't exactly know why they would, though.

However, instead of the full drawn out life story, let me just tell an abbreviated version...a very abbreviated version.

Basically I was born, I was created. That's the story of everyone's life or else how would they be here? I was born in China. Taizhou City of the Jiangsu province in the country of China. Now, how did I get over to America? No, I'm not an international student, I never was and I probably never will be since I'm not planning on transferring out of the university I'm currently enrolled in any time soon. But I was adopted.

Yes, the word adopted that has previously shown up in one of my fanfics, if you've read it or not, and it will probably show up in another one in the future. Yes, I'm adopted. I was adopted from China at the tender age of six months and brought over to America to begin a new life. I grew up in a small town on the east coast and then here I am in college so many years later.

That's basically my "life story" in a nutshell. It's not much, I know, but that's about it, that's all really anyone needs to know. Why would they want to know more about simple me?

Moving on, I would really like to tell you guys the name of the guys that are involved and I would like to show you guys pictures, too, but because they're probably strangers to this site and due to privacy, I don't want to let anyone know about them online without them knowing that I'm doing it, so I'll only use description to describe them...I guess. My description might not be the best, though. Just as a forewarning before my description, I'm not very good at describing people and these two guys are completely the opposite from one another.

Let's just look at guy number one, not the international kid, the other guy that many are thinking that I'm dating just because of my change in profile picture. Yea, this guy. He's about 6'4" or something like that. He's super smart, too considering that he went to a private all boy's school before coming here. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and is very skinny, almost so much that he looks kind of lanky in appearance. I'm not sure how else to describe him, really. He just lives down the hall and we're good friends...except he gets my name wrong. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not anymore, but for the longest time he called me by the wrong name, not that he frequently said my name, but he thought that it was something that was similar, but it's wrong, it's not my name. Now, I don't call him by his name, but other things that rhyme, like he did with mine.

The second guy, the international friend of mine and the one that I like. He's about my height, which is about 5'6" or he might be a little taller than me, 5'7"? I'm not very good with estimating height differences, but he's close to my height. His favorite color is black. I remember asking him about it one day since he always wears black. Like seriously. Every day I see him wearing black sneakers, black jeans, and a black t-shirt with a black jacket. Yes, he likes black and white and apparently he's too lazy to go shopping for new clothes. But I don't really know how to explain him. He looks like a regular Asian guy, yes?

900918: Sorry for the colors -.- damn it…I don’t know what to do T.T

This gif that I found on the Internet one day and sent to my younger sister to describe his appearance before I took a creeper photo of him. The above person, who I don't know the name or origin of because I found it on some website, looks very similar to my international friend. So, just let your imagination do the work since he looks very similar to the person in the above gif. Except...I think the person in the above gif is Korean...this guy is Chinese, but still, it's very similar in appearance, just to give a rough idea of what he looks like.

I don't think I could find a gif that resembles the other guy, though. So sorry about that for those of you that want to see him.

And here's where some complicated things get thrown in. I know that the international kid probably won't know about people thinking that the other guy and I are dating because mostly kids from my hometown are saying that and they're all at different colleges. And yes, I'm friends with the international kid on facebook, but I'm not entirely sure how frequently he checks it and I don't think he would think anything of it considering that my last profile picture was also with guys after I graduated.

But also, something else complicated is that the international kid is in a different major than the other kid and I. The other kid and I are both engineering majors, the international kid is a business major meaning that we can't really see each other very often, but because he's super smart, he only has like two classes a day. However, other than that he's mostly held up in his room doing who knows what, probably practicing his guitar that he had his parents send from China or studying or sleeping. He really likes to sleep, apparently, or rather, that's just an educated guess from one past experience.

Anyway, we're different majors. I'm the same major as the other guy, and even the same concentration of engineering, too, we're also in this group together of about 40 engineers, which mostly live in my hallway and some in the other hallway on this half of the building that I'm living in, although most of the people in my hallway are not in the group. So the other guy and I see each other frequently as compared to the international kid and I. But maybe it's because I don't see the international kid as much that I like him more than the other kid.

That's nothing against the other kid, it's completely personal preference, but things get complicated. What else can I say? It's life, I guess. There's not much that I can really do about it, right?

In about two weeks, however, this one girl across the hall, she is also an international student from Macau are going to travel to Chinatown together and we were thinking about inviting the other two international kids from down the hall, one being the guy that I like and another being a guy that likes her. Only...I'm not entirely sure if she realizes that the guy likes her, maybe she does, but I'm not sure. Either way, we're thinking about going there in two weeks, but I hope that they go along, it would be really fun if that were to happen since the two from down the hall know Mandarin and would be able to talk with them. The girl from Macau doesn't know Mandarin, though, she only knows Cantonese.

It's funny, really, thinking about it. Even though all three of them are from China, in a sense, they can only speak to each other in English since they don't know Cantonese and she doesn't know Mandarin very well. It's a funny concept to think about, at least I think so.

But I think that this has gotten long enough and it should come to an end. I guess I'll start doing weekly updates about things about college life like my classes and social life, things like that. Of course I'll keep you guys updated on this situation and any possible situation in the future regarding any other guys. I guess I'll have to start getting better names than "other guy" and "international kid." I'll have to think about that for the future.

For now, it really is almost midnight, ten minutes until then, and I should be getting to sleep or doing something productive...maybe I'll update my next fanfic that's in line and for some reason I keep listening to Infinite's 'She's A Fantasy' song. It was on repeat the whole time that I was writing this. I discovered a nice website that lets you put youtube songs on repeat and the counter is now up to about 11 times, so this is my 12th time listening to the song. For some reason I just think it sounds soothing right now.

And that's it for this blog post. I'll write something sometime about classes and other things, but remember, I'm an engineering major so things are probably going to be different since engineering is pretty hard.

Well, goodbye :)

It's pretty funny that your international friends (which you plan on going to Chinatown together, the three of them) communicate in English with each other since your girlfriend only knows Cantonese and the other boys only knows Mandarin . :) Btw, I enjoy reading your stuffs . Keep update !

This is the most interesting thing to read ever today. (Just came back from Literature class... so....)
I like the part where the other kid got your name wrong and you call him another name too. www

I can't wait to see what's going to happen to your trip to Chinatown.

What should I say...?
Update soon? xD
