She is born in Los Angeles and raised in Busan. The reason that she was born in Los Angeles is that because her mother want her to have both Korean and American nationality. Her family consists of her father, her mother, her older brother and she, herself. Her father is a chemist, a person who invents new medicine or you can call them researcher and her mother work in bank as a banker. She stayed at home with her older brother almost all the time, they took care of each other when their parents are not at home. Her parents were afraid that they are bored, so they made them learn taekwondo and made Min Jung take up dancing lessons while her brother took up drawing. Since Min Jung is also interested in drawing, her brother also taught her what he learned in drawing lessons. Her life has been normal until one day when she witnessed a car accident.
