I thought featured fanfics are chosen by the system/system generated to avoid being biased, and now you can vote for a fanfic to be featured?

Err. That's quite uhm... confusing? and contradicting to one another...?

It seems like the majority of us are feeling this way right now. I do hope that this smooths out and lessens negative feed back, because the last thing I want to happen is a bunch of people to get fed up and quit the site. I don't want AFF to ever shut down because I have already been through a website when it shuts down which is the main reason I stopped writing the first time. Nothing else was quite as comfortable. As far as organization and ease of use, I don't much care for LiveJournal. Also the security features aren't as good and so on and so forth. In any case, I'd like AFF to maybe stop making changes for a few months and then go from there. After the server crashed for so long, a ton of people disappeared but all the changes done afterwards has only driven people away instead of drawn them in.
