EMERGENCY THIS IS SERIOUS PLEASE HELP!!!! T_________________T

So today I came home and went to the computer and guess what MY COMPUTERS DATA HAS BEEN ALL WIPED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All my saved songs, videos, pictures, macros, gifs are all gone. This means I have to start from stratch AGAIN. This happened once before but I had way less data saved.

Just yesterday I had around 5,000 songs and about 4,000 pictures and none of this includes music videos or shows I had saved.

Right now I honestly feel sick. Seriously like I feel like crying all the things I collected and went thruough all this time and effort to find is now gone. I have t it all down again.

With pictures, music videos, and macros its not too bad since I usually like them on tumblr so I should be able to just save them all again.

The problem is all that music is going to be hard to buy again, so I'm going to take the shady route and just use download links. Like honestly I'm going to bankrupt if I try to buy all that again.

The thing is with sopa and what not media download rules are much stricter and most files don't exist anymore especially for older groups or more popular ones. Off the top of my head heres a list of the artists I had in my Itunes.

Now the reason I decided to post this well, this is a fansite. Lots of people download on here as well as buy albums. So if anyone knows any links or sites that would be helpful that would be nice.

Also for certain artists like the following I had their complete discography and now I'm going to have to look for them all T___________:

So if you know any sites or any links please help. Oh and if your totally against downloading thats ok too. I'm just so desperate to get my music back. Also anyone have ideas on how to save download not just to your computer but to itunes like permenently. I've heard of Icloud but idk what it does.

p.s. I know about k2nblog.com already but most of their old stuff isn't reachable

I use 4shared.com to download some songs. You can try it :) But you need to make an account so you'll be able to download songs there. It's quite simple really :)

If you bought it all on iTunes then you shouldn't have to rebuy it all, you can just go to your purchased music and redownload it from there.

Have you tried doing a system restore? A similar thing happened to my computer so I did a system restore back to like a week from the incident and everything came back.

Yeah usually if you bought them legitimately you can redownload them without having to pay for them all again like with iTunes and such.

You can find a lot of 4shared.com (i think that's the url?) too. Can be a bit time consuming to redownload everything though so definitely check out your other options...

Do you have an iPad or iPad or iPhone?

If so, you can get most of, if not all of your stuff back.

that really absolutely :( i wish you the best in fixing your issue. convertfiles.com lets you copy youtube urls and convert them to sound files you can then open with itunes...not that i would know...lol

I don't really know the state of you missing files, but first check to see if they haven't just been hidden. You should be able to see if the files are hidden in the properties of a folder. I know because I did that one somebody at school.

If they are completely gone you can use listentoyoutube.com and copy youtube urls to it, or I use use currently a google chrome extension youtube to mp3. It's all free and doesn't really require downloading any programs, just an extension of chrome.
