Personality : Iseul is a rebel-ish girl. Alot of the time, she is going out her way to break rules or have fun. She doesn't care what people think of her and likes to live life to the fullest. Iseul also has a unique way of thinking because to her being perfect means that you're imperfect. Iseul is a very likeable person and she is a really big fan of cartoons. Her favorite being Sully from Monsters Inc. Because of this, she likes to 'roar' when she feels really silly and she makes facial expressions that show her small canine teeth, similar to the monster. Some call her a 'Happy Virus', but Iseul likes to call herself 'The Gurple Monster'.
Background : Iseul is the type of person to make up her mind and not change it. So when she decided she wanted to be a singer, that was it. Iseul had always had a passion of singing ever since she was younger, so her decision was definitely not a surprise. Iseul's silly aura made people think that she would never be able to do so, but that just encouraged her even more. She wanted to prove to people that they were wrong. How Did You Two Cuties Meet? Iseul had gone to a haunted labyrinth alone for Halloween. At the labyrinth, you were set up with another random person and you had to find your way out of the maze. Iseul was partners with Dongjun. Kim Dongjun (who is now a member of ZE:A) was a trainee at Star Empire and would soon debut, but at this time, he was still unknown to the public. Dongjun and Iseul went into the maze and they stood far from each other. They were shy around each other and they weren't very sure what to do. Iseul began to puff her cheeks as she looked around, oblivious that Dongjun was watching her and smiling from how cute she looked. All of a sudden, something grabbed Iseul's leg and she screamed, runnig to Dongjun. She hugged him and buried her face in his chest as he hugged her. Dongjun ran his fingers through her hair and asked if she was okay. Iseul was blushing like crazy, but it was hard to see since it was dark. She nodded and let go of him. Dongjun held her hand and brought her closer to him, trying to comfort her more. He knew she was scared so he tried to protect her the most he could. When they found their way out of the labyrinth, Dongjun saw that Iseul waved and gave him a soft smile, walking away afterwards. Dongjun ran to her side and said "My name is Dongjun, can I walk you home?'. Iseul giggled a bit at the boy and then nodded. "Deh~ And I'm Iseul by the way" She said. As Dongjun walked her home, they talked about themselves and got to know each other a bit more.

Family Background : Iseul grew up in a middle class family. They weren't poor, but they weren't rich. She often got alot of the things she wanted and she studied hard to make sure she was worth something. Same goes for her older sister Soyeon. They often visited their mother's flower shop that was down the road of their home. There were many flowers. Peonies, Lillies, Orchids and etc. The smell was also very pleasent. Their father was a laptop designer, so Soyeon and Iseul's laptops were always decorated prettily or that their father got them nice cases.
Iseul and her family are always happy and they love to joke around with each other. Although there is only one outgoing person who isn't afraid to show herself in the family (Iseul), when they are together, you yourself could feel very happy from all the optimism that goes around. There isn't much to her family other than love, silliness and trust, but even so, they are very intresting people who are open to many things and are often always being supportive.
Rivals : Kim Taeyeon: Although she is Iseul's best friend, Iseul always feels the need to compete with her because she recieves more attention from Dongjun. Taeyeon is Dongjun's ideal girl, but Taeyeon doesn't feel that way about him and she is unaware to the fact that Iseul does.

How Did You Get Discovered Love? Iseul signed up for an audition for S.M. Entertainment. To prepare for it, she practiced her singing voice everyday and even worked on a hidden talent she didn't know she had. Dancing. It became a joy for Iseul and soon, she was almost like a professional. The next day, it was time to audtition. Iseul wook up early, did her hygenic routine, ate and then headed to the audition.'This is it' She thought as she walked to the building to audition. She began to feel nervous, but that didn't stop her because she knew what she wanted and she wasn't going to give up just yet.
After a couple of days after the audition, Iseul got a call from S.M. telling her she got the job. Iseul was now a confirmed trainee at S.M. Entertainment. The first day Iseul went to practice, there were a lot of new faces. Some were very familiar. Iseul stayed in the back and then waited the trainers to come. She stood there and looked around, but not well enough because to her right side, there was Yuri of SNSD. "Oh my God!!!! It's Taeyeon's little sister!!!!!" She yelled out as she ran to Iseul and tackled her onto the floor. "WE HAVE ANOTHER TAENGOO??!?!?!" Sooyoung yelled out from the spot she had been in across the room. Sooyoung ran to Iseul and pried Yuri off of Iseul and then Iseul began to giggle. They all introduced themselves and began to bond. Soon enough, Iseul met the real Taeyeon who became one of her best friends, Yuri being the other.
After a few months of training, Iseul was told that she was being transferred to another company for an unknown reason. She began to pack up all of the things she had like her water bottle and IPod. She went back home and cried because she felt that S.M. thought she was not good enough. She also fiddled with her fingers as her tears feel down knowing how much she would miss her dear friends. Just then, the phone rang. Iseul got up and took in a deep breath. She went to the living room, where the house phone was, and answered it. "Hello?" She said shakily. She only stood there and nodded as the CEO of S.M. spoke to her. She found out that she was being transferred to Star Empire. Iseul couldn't help but squeal a bit because her crush, Dongjun, was a singer at Star Empire. Days after, she began training at Star Empire.
