I can be arrested for this post tomorrow, but to hell with that! Marami pang Filipino Netizens ang patuloy na nagttweet, nagbblogging, at nagppost etc. ng kanilang mga opinyon sa Cyber Crime Law dito sa Pinas, and I wanna share mine too bago pa ako mablock or get arrested for 12 years.

Im shocked, disappointed, worried, and mad at the same time. Hindi ako mahilig manuod ng news so I didn’t know that our senators had passed an idiotic and overly dramatic law that is said to fight harmful acts using the WWW (e.g. ography, Hacking, Etc.). Yes, it would be good to have a law like that but there’s also a catch. It is said in the provisions that the authorities can collect data on personal accounts on social media and listen in on voice apps etc. even without a warrant. Take note, without a warrant. So where is freedom there? If this law would be implemented, we would lose our privacy and at the same time our freedom of expression.

At nakakadisappoint lalo ang ating mga pulitiko, maraming problemang kinakaharap ang ating bansa na MAS DAPAT binibigyan nila ng pansin tulad ng KORUPSYON AT KAHIRAPAN. Pero isinasantabi nila ang mga yon para dito? Ano yan? Hindi na ba sila marunong tumingin kung aling mga bagay ang dapat nilang pinaprioritize? Naturingan pa naman sila na pulitiko. Well, what do you expect? PULITIKO nga pala sila!

Another concern of mine is bawal nang magdownload ng movies, music, at kung ano ano pa sa internet?! Kahit manuod lang?! Well,  this !Buhay ko na po ang internet! If they would implement this, ID ING DIE!My hobbies: downloading and reading e-books, downloading music, reading mangas, watching my favorite shows online.. etc. I can’t imagine the LIFE NOT having them.  :(((( And what about my friends abroad?! I cant talk to them like before if there would be authorities monitoring our chats. That would be reeeeeeeeeally annoying that you cant talk freely with your friends.

Nakakagigil talaga ee. Things would never be the same after tomorrow.Yup, October 3, 2012, end of MY world na. :(

If Id go to jail, I wanna tell you that I ing love you all to death! You guys had been awesome! Pray that the goddamn law would be taken back or revised so that things would go back to the way it was. If not, pray for those politicians, who made this law, that their souls would earn a one way ticket straight to hell and hope it’d be left to burn there forever.
