▬ » you're a ma-ma-ma-ma-machine!

PersonalityMei-Xing is very kind, understanding, and caring. She likes to help people. She is responsible, though she hates to be. She's the type of person that needs control. She does not need to be in control, but if nobody else is in control, she will step up to the plate. She's a leader. She unknowingly takes care of people, even if she doesn't like them. Even though she is mature, she is very young on the inside. She enjoys doing things that younger teenagers would do, such as hanging out at the mall or swimming in the pool instead of going to a club and drinking like most people her age. She tells jokes and teases people a lot, but she's always very loving. Even when she teases a child, she'd  their hair lovingly and they know that she's just kidding. Children love her, though she doesn't know why. Her friends tell her it's because she's motherly, but she doesn't believe so. To this day, Mei-Xing will deny that she is motherly. She likes to think of herself as an older sister, not a mother.
Despite being a caring girl, Mei-Xing will not take any crap. She will not stand by and let someone belittle or annoy her. She has a "three strike rule". If she tells you nicely to stop, and you don't listen - strike one. She'll tell you again, and you don't listen - strike two. One more time, annoyed now - strike three. Now, she's just done. She might yell or she might just walk away and ignore you. She's very serious about being annoyed, as she has no tolerance for it. She doesn't like to hurt people's feelings, but she will if she has to. If she feels bad about it, then she will apologize later after she's cooled down (which is most of the time). Mei-Xing doesn't like saying no, so she's often seen as a doormat. But, she isn't one. She will stand up for herself or her friends in any situation. She's not a pushover and she hates being seen as one just because she tries to help people as much as she can. Mei-Xing is very competitive and likes to win and be the best. She always works as hard as she can to make it to the top. She's happy for other people who beat her, but that only pushes her to work harder to beat them next time. Mei-Xing hates losing, and while she puts a smile on her face and congratulates the winner, she hates every minute of it. Mei-Xing tends to complain a lot, which annoys people. But, she doesn't realize that she's annoying. Usually, her best friend or sister tells her she's annoying, which causes her to yell at them for interrupting her. When she's finished ranting, she always says that she's sorry for annoying them, but she needed to get it out of her system.
When Mei-Xing is tough on people, she always feels bad. But, she has no problem being tough on herself. She always sets her goals too high, which causes her to never reach them and then feel bad about herself. She knows that she does this, but she can't seem to stop. When she does reach her goal, she's happy, but not ecstatic. She believes that she should have reached it sooner. She's very critical of herself and more competitive with herself than anyone else. She's hard-working and determined to win over herself. She is stubborn too, as she likes to be right. Even if she's wrong, and she knows she's wrong, she'll keep acting like she's right. She doesn't like to listen to other people, which sometimes comes back to slap her in the face. She doesn't admit defeat though. She’s introverted and doesn’t like to tell anyone what she’s feeling. Even when she is hurt, she’ll keep it to herself. She hates talking about her feelings, so she always just says “I’m fine” and leaves it at that. Mei-Xing is, over everything else, a loyal friend. She will go to the ends of the Earth for her friends and family. She may only have two or three friends, but that's because she chooses her friends carefully. She will not be friends with someone who will stab her in the back. Mei-Xing is good at reading people and understanding situations. Overall, Mei-Xing is kind, caring, motherly, stubborn, self-critical, competitive, smart, and loyal.

▬ » all my love is for you!

Family:
Song Xi-Wang | 59 | 05/23/53 | Chef | Father | They get along well. They talk on the phone when they can and love each other very much. Xi-Wang would do anything for his child and Mei-Xing would do anything for her father.
Song Ming-Xi | 55 | 09/30/57 | Kindergarten Teacher| Mother | They are very close. Mei-Xing loves her mother to death and Ming-Xi has always supported Mei-Xing. While Mei-Xing lives in Beijing, she missed her mother very much. But, they video chat and talk on the phone whenever they can.
Song Qian | 25 | 02/02/87 | Dancer | Sister | Qian and Mei-Xing are closer then sisters. They live together and both work in Beijing. They love each other very much and tell each other everything. There are no secrets between them.

Friends:
Han Geng | 28 | 02/09/84 | Dancer | Geng is Qian's boyfriend. Geng lives with Qian and Mei-Xing and is like an older brother to Mei-Xing. He often talks to Mei-Xing about marrying Qian, and Mei-Xing can't wait for that day to come. They are very close and Mei-Xing is usually there to help Geng when he needs someone other than his girlfriend.
Meng Jia | 23 | 02/03/89 | Gymnast | Jia and Mei-Xing are very close. They are both gymnasts at the same gym and get along very well. Jia is in it more for recreation while Mei-Xing is highly competitive. Jia is the one Mei-Xing goes to when she needs to vent and Jia always listens, tells Mei-Xing she's an idiot, and then laughs with her afterward. They're that close.

Family backgrond/history/past: Mei-Xing's parents met through a mutual friend and dated for three years before getting married. Mei-Xing was always very happy as a child. Her parents loved her and they always did what was best for her. They never had a lot of money, but Mei-Xing didn't mind. She had everything she wanted, even if it wasn't a lot. Qian was the first born. Qian got into dancing just before Mei-Xing was born. So, after Mei-Xing was born, she had no choice but to go to dance practice with her mother and sister everyday. When she was three years old, in order to keep Mei-Xing from being bored at the dance studio, her mother put her into dance lessons as well. But, Mei-Xing would just goof off and not work hard. She didn't like it. She always thought it was pretty, but not exciting. She never had an interest for it.
One day, when Mei-Xing was 6 and Qian was 12, their mother brought them to a gymnastics training center for a birthday party. At the party, Mei-Xing fell in love with gymnastics. It had the elegance of dance that she loved along with the excitement of tricks that she longed for. She begged her parents for lessons, but they didn't have the money. Her father persuaded her mother to let her try and, if she had talent and worked hard, he would work an extra shift in order to support it. So, she began training to be a competitive gymnast. After a few months, she had already mastered many difficult tricks and was winning every competition she was entered in. She was determined to prove to her parents that their extra work and effort was paying off, and her parents were very proud of her.
A year later, Qian left to train at a prestigious dance school in Beijing. Mei-Xing continued her gymnastics training in Qingdao. But, when she was 12 years old, she realized that she needed a change. Her sister told Mei-Xing about all of the wonders of Beijing and how she got her own apartment and Mei-Xing decided she wanted to go to Beijing and train at the best gymnastics training center in China. Her parents were reluctant, but her father reminded her mother that she was the same age that Qian was when she left. Her mother allowed Mei-Xing to live with Qian in her tiny, one-bedroom apartment in Beijing. She enrolled in school and began training with the best gymnastics coach in China. When Qian's boyfriend moved in (under Qian and Mei-Xing's persuasion), Mei-Xing moved to the couch in the living room.
Mei-Xing improved a lot in gymnastics since she moved to Beijing and went to Nationals in 2012. She placed third, but it was good enough for the Olympic team. She competed at the Olympics and placed eigth in the individual all-around event. She won the gold in the beam event, her specialty. She hopes to go back to the Olympics in 2016 and win the individual all-around event.

▬ » tell me, is this love?

Love interest: Zhang Yixing | 20 (birthdate: 10/07/91)

How close are you? Mei-Xing and Yixing are extremely close. They're best friends!

How do you act around one another? They are very comfortable with each other. They're almost like brother and sister. They tease each other and make fun of each other a lot. Yixing tends to break into Mei-Xing's phone and post random statuses on weibo, which both annoys Mei-Xing and makes her laugh. He also takes random selcas and makes it her home screen. She always changes it back, yelling at him for being an annoying child, but she secretly loves it. They care for each other very much and they will always defend each other through anything.

Back-up interest: Lu Han | 22 (birthdate: 04/20/90)

How close are you? Lu Han and Mei-Xing get along very well and love each other very much. Despite coming from a poor background, Lu Han is very fond of her hard work and dedication. Mei-Xing is equally fond of his easy acceptance of her and how sweet he is.

How do you act around one another? Lu Han and Mei-Xing are very sweet and loving. Lu Han loves skinship and loves to hug Mei-Xing from behind and hold her hand. Mei-Xing always complains that he's annoying, but Lu Han knows that she loves it, so he continues to do it. They always joke with each other and Lu Han makes Mei-Xing feel very special, which Mei-Xing sometimes feels she doesn't deserve.

Ex-boyfriends? Zhou Mi | 25 (birthdate: 04/19/87)

How close WERE you? They were very close. They were in love. They met when Mei-Xing first moved to Beijing. Qian's boyfriend, Han Geng, introduced them, as Geng was close friends with him. Even though Mi was much older, they still started dating. It was kept a secret from everyone but Qian and Geng. They were a very sweet, cute couple who were obviously in love.

How do you act around each other now (if you still see them)? Things are tense between them. Mi works in a retail store in the local mall, so Mei-Xing sometimes runs into him. He still chases after her, even though he was the one who ended it in the first place. Geng has told him that it's over, but he doesn't want it to be. He tries to talk to Mei-Xing, but she doesn't want to hear it.

Reason for break-up? Mi was upset that Mei-Xing would spend all of her time on gymnastics. Mei-Xing explained, countless times, that gymnastics was her life and that she couldn't give it up. She had worked too hard for too many years to just let it all go. Mi was upset by this, so he left. He has regretted it ever since.

▬ » that xx!

Rivals: N/A

Why are you rivals?

How do you behave around one another?

▬ » baby don't cuh-raii!

Comments: I hope you're ok with me using just about every Chinese idol out there xP Haha. Also, do these stories take place in Korea or anywhere? Just wondering, because my application is kind of set for it to take place in China. But, if it has to be in Korea, then Mei-Xing doesn't have to live in Beijing, her sister, her sister's boyfriend, and her can live in Korea and train/work. That's fine :) I hope you like Mei-Xing and good luck with the story~

Suggestions: Nope, the story seems great to me :)

Other: Um, maybe a scene where Lay hacks Mei-Xing's phone and changes her Weibo status to say "Zhang Yixing is amazing and I love him~" Mei-Xing then gets really embarrassed, but doesn't show it by yelling at him. He just laughs and she finds him adorable. Something like that? :) You don't have to though. Oh, and Rachelle's y. ^_^
