1. His eyes. It wonderful how his eyes are almost like a portal to his soul. How he rolls them when he’s annoyed, widens them when he’s surprised or happy, squeezes them shut when he’s laughing. He doesn’t try to hide anything. 

2. His smile. It’s beautiful how genuine his smiles always are. How his pouty lips stretch over his almost impossibly straight teeth. He’s basically a dentist’s poster child, I swear.

3. His laugh. The way he laughs as if the sky is falling and he needs to hang onto whoever is the closest to him. It’s always loud and free, like his personality.

4. His affection. The way he acts with people he cares about. Its a subtle thing. How he’d run a his fingers through their hair, or smile at something they do to himself. How he’d nag at them, but actually because he cares. 

5. His love for his family. How tears well up in his eyes when he brings up his grandmother. How he’s always emotional when he talks about how he might have disappointed his parents before. How always remembers to thank them every single time they win an award no matter how big or how small.

6. His fashion. His outrageously random fashion. He wears whatever he feels like - whatever makes him happy. How he uses it to stand out and be himself. It’s always bright and unique, just like he him.

7. His performances. I love how much power and passion he puts into performing. Each movement he makes on stage leaves me breathless. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t have a main role in SHINee (ex. main singer, rapper, dancer) that he performs so hard. He wants to stand out, and he does.

8. His art. He is so creative in so many different ways. His painting in specific are always as unique as he is. Bright colors met by dark themes. Somehow looking at them make me feel close to him.

9. His voice. How deep it gets when he’s speaking English. How it has a slight nasally hint to it. How despite it being masculine, sometimes there is a slight squeak to it. How it sometimes cracks when he’s being loud or annoyed. 

10. His authenticity. How you don’t have to guess if he’s bored, he makes it obvious. If he’s unhappy, you’d know. If he’s excited, he doesn’t keep it in. He cries and laughs so easily because he has the courage to always be completely and utterly himself, and it’s something rare in such a plastic world. He doesn’t lock who he is behind plastered smiles, and fake laughter. And it’s something so genuine. He’s real.
