She trained there for 1 year, but was dropped from the company because they no longer had a group for her to debut in. A year later she auditioned for SM Entertainment and was immediately accepted. family history/background: Park Min Jung was born right in the heart of South Korea. The very second she was born, her parents knew they loved her with all their hearts. When she grew to be about 5 years old, her family moved to Canada, wanting a bit of change in their lives. Min Jung was raised to be a proud open-minded Korean Canadian. Her parents never let her forget where she came from and what her roots were. When she was 12 years old, her brother was born and her family decided to move back to South Korea.  There she discovered the wonderful world of KPop and fell in love with it. When she wanted to audition to be in the music industry her parents supported her greatly and would push her to do her best that she could be.

how you two met: It was just a regular day when Min Jung went to Starbucks to get her usual, which was a caramel frappuccino. Not really paying attention when she was at the front counter to pay, she grabbed the drink that had been placed there and left the cafe. A man ran after her and and tapped her shoulder, pointing to the drink in his hands and explaining that she had gotten his drink instead of hers. Completely embarrased, Min Jung quickly apologized and gave his drink back. She ended up saying something like "Your hair is so shiny." which made Jaejin laugh. They exchanged names, but after that day they haven't seen each other again. 
 

back up love interest: JB from JJ Project
how you two met: Min Jung met JB at the JYP auditions. She was extremely anxious before her audition and JB tried his best to calm her down by giving her helpful tips and comforting words. He stayed with her until the minute she had to go to the judges and was by her side when she came right out. Unfortunately, she was rejected, but he wasn't. They both parted with a sad goodbye that day.
