Happy Birthday Kim 'Key' Kibum
I'm seeing where people are saying "I love Kim Kibum not Shinee's Key." But is it bad to love Key as well as Kibum?
I love Key: His energy on stage is enough to take your breath away. I think I'd faint if got the chance to see him perform live. I love his beautiful voice and his piercing fierce eyes and attitude. His confidence blows me away. He walks around the stage as if he owns it. As if he were born on it. His dancing is always on point and precise.
But then there's Kim Kibum: The guy that's too cute and adorable to actually be older than me. The guy who isn't afraid to be himself and walk around the airport in a Bart Simpson sweater. Who has the attitude of an international superstar but is always very humble. The guys who, even though he's tired, will still sign random autographs for fans if he's asked to do so. The guy who isn't afraid to voice his opinion and take over, as stated by the rest of the Shinee members numerous times. The guy who gets way to excited sometimes and leans on anyone who's near him to himself while he's laughing his off. The same guy who lived in Daegu and wasn't able to practice as much as the other members. The same who cried on his train rides thinking he'd never debut or improve. The same guy I'm extremely proud of for succeeding and making it into Shinee when he thought he couldn't.
Key is not just a stage persona that was made up. I feel that it's inner, more confident person that Kibum didin't know existed until his debut. Key is just as amazing as Kim Kibum and I love both his persona and who he really is.
Happy Birthday Kim 'Key' Kibum.
