Kim yumi is the sporty type who is quiet and shy. But when she hangs out with her friends she turns into a total opposite person, hyper, outgoing, clumsy, and playful and acts like a kid. She gets mood swings from time to time; she can convert from happy to sad and from mad to cheerful for no specific reasons. When she is with the people she loves she is usually happy and hyper who likes to either annoy those people or make them laugh. When Yumi is sad she stays alone in a spot, either drawing, or listening to music, sometimes even dancing to her favorite kpop songs to forget those bad thoughts. She is a good listener and usually listens to her friends’ problems, it’s rare for her to share her problems with anyone, she usually shoulders it all herself. When facing problems she tries her best to be patient, she is not easily provoked or angered. When she does reach her limit and is really mad she automatically clenches her fists and starts punching the wall when she can’t take it any more but only does it when she’s alone. She always wears sporty clothes but with style, sometimes hip-hop style, she always wears hoodies, and hats.

Yumi was born in Japan but she lives in her father's country korea. She's an only child but has tons of cousins, which she rarely sees. She used to be somewhat like a lone wolf during her childhood, she felt that no one understood her, and that everyone misunderstood her, and every time she would find a friend they eventually leave her. But she never stopped believing that one day she would find true friends. During 8th grade she found 3 new friends and as time passed they became best friends yumi was a lone wolf no more. During 9th grade  she found out about Koreans  & She started developing a more outgoing personality and she started interacting with more people.
