I've been really really hyped up that SMTown is coming to Singapore because I've been waiting for it for years and I've even saved up $270 for it. I took the money from my school allowance means that I don't have money to even eat at school but my parents totally don't understand me. I just brought up the topic today and now they're telling me that they will never allow me to go to concerts because its not right to do so as Muslims but I find it incredibly unfair that my 23 year old brother has gone for SNSD's concerts, Wonder Girl's concerts and even the MAMAs yet I can't just go for one! They don't even bother telling him that he's not allowed to go to concerts. All my friends who want to go to SMTown's parents are all okay with the idea of them going but here I am with my parents who don't even let me go. I've been working so hard in school just to go to SMTown (for example: getting the highest in class for my english test [25/30], getting 29/30 for my recent history test), I've been saving up money so that they won't have to pay for me and this is what I get in return. I wanted to go for SS4 in Singapore too but I didn't manage to get tickets so my dad promised to let me go for the next concert I wanted to go to but look at how he's reacting now. My parents did tell me nicely that I can't go for it but I can't help but be so frustrated about it and think that is being completely barbaric. My sister gets to go for concerts too but she sneaks out and stays over at my cousin's place. I can't do that because I'm only 14 years old and have no freedom whatsoever. I just wish that they'd understand me this one time!
