Personality: Lina is caring, nice, friendly, honest, and always mindful of others. She's always watching out for others and doesn't usually take care of herself first. She makes sure everybody is feeling and doing well and always reassures them to put all the negative feelings and criticisms towards her because she believes she can handle it, in which she actually can. She's mentally strong because of this. She's also honest with her opinions and will always say what she believes if she's asked. She's naturally caring and friendly to anybody she meets and is more on the outgoing side than the reserved and shy side. She doesn't mind going up to a person and introducing herself or leading her group of friends somewhere (like if they're all walking around a mall or something). People are also always attracted to her because of her friendly and caring nature.

Despite this, Lina is a pretty funny girl with people she's friends or acquaintances with. She tends to just say whatever is on her mind because her thought process can be really random at times. Sometimes she just reads whatever she can understand off of Korean labels or signs since she can't usually understand it very well. She doesn't like doing aegyo but happens to do it unknowingly, especially when she's really happy. She's also a hardworking and passionate person when it comes to dancing and singing. She'll go over her limit and always happens to have one of her friends or her cousin find her in a training room passed out on the ground. She usually is a patient person and doesn't easily get angry but at the times she does, she actually becomes very scary considering her height and 'death' glare. She tends to get verbal or finds something to hit.

On stage, she shows her passion easily and shows charisma with her dancing and singing. She knows she's good at it, so on the stage, she clearly shows it. She also is easy-going and a bit mischievous. She doesn't mind showing skinship with anybody on the stage. She likes making others happy so she'll do it willingly wherever there's a camera. Off the stage, she's the same way since she doesn't like showing a different side to herself. The only different thing is that she just tones down how much skinship she shows.

Character/Family Background: Lina's father was a businessman so he had to travel a lot until he got a promotion to live in Italy when he was in his early 20s. While he was in Milan, he met Isabelle and married her after a few years. Her mother was trying to start her own business when Jaehwa was given a chance to come back to Seoul, South Korea for a contract of around 5 years. While he was there, they had their first and only child, Lina 'Arianna.' Lina was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea until she was about 3 when her father's contract ended, and he decided to go back to Milan so his wife could be near her family again. They moved back and have lived there ever since.

Lina basically grew up with a normal family lifestyle. She had a great education and was always either in the average or above average section of the class. Her mother was formally a ballet dancer, so Lina wanted to be just like her mother. She started dancing at the young age of 6 and has developed her dancing skills ever since then. She became a natural dancer, and her parents were proud of her. Lina was able to learn Korean conversationally because of her father. Her mother knew it conversationally as well because she wanted to be able to communicate better with her husband's family. When she was in her high school years, she and her parents took summer trips back to Seoul to visit Jaehwa's family and Lina's cousins. Lina always loved visiting Seoul because of the difference in atmosphere and culture.

During one of the trips, Lina and her family found out one of her cousins' auditioned to join the company SM Entertainment. They were even more surprised but happy when they heard he was accepted. She thought it was cool that her own cousin would one day become a huge music star and thought that it'd be even cooler if she could do that as well, even though her parents were slightly against the idea because she would be far away from them. (They eventually accepted the decision though when her cousin convinced them he would watch over her and take care of her while she's in Korea.) The last time Lina visited was the time she was convinced and forced to audition for SM Entertainment just like her cousin.

Lina was definitely impressed and was speechless at his rapping that Sunny laughed at her attitude and introduced them.
• Liu Amber | 19 | Idol (f(x)) | Amber was one of the first people to greet Lina when she first came to SM because they could both speak English. They're similar in that they both liked to dance and that they were limited in reading and writing Korean. So, they instantly clicked when they first met and introduced themselves to each other.
• Kim 'Key' Kibum | 20 | Idol (SHINee) | Key was able to meet Lina through the grapevine of SM Entertainment. He heard about a girl who came from Italy and could cook Italian food, so he actively searched for her just because of his intense love for Italian food. He found her easily because of Amber and Chanyeol and introduced himself, wondering if she could cook him Italian food and teach it to him. He was sorely disappointed that she mainly baked but loved to be around her because of her likeable personality.

Rival: Zhang 'Lay' Yixing | 20 (international) | Idol (EXO-M) | They aren't technically rivals. They have more of a friendly rivalry where they like to compete against each other with their singing and dancing skills, often having battles against the other to see who could be better.

How were you discovered? Lina was actually in Seoul, South Korea visiting her cousin (Kyuhyun) and their family when he, some of the Super Junior and Girls' Generation members, and Lina went out for a kareoke night to have some fun. Everybody wanted to see Kyuhyun and his cousin sing to see if she had a great voice like her elder cousin. Everybody was surprised she was just as good at him. Kyuhyun was impressed after they finished singing and everybody who came with them kept pushing her to audition for SM. She didn't want to at first because she had to go back to Italy by the next week, but they all literally dragged her to the company during the next open audition and made her audition with her vocals since they all knew she already had a dancing history.

How did you meet? Sehun met Lina when she was hanging out at the SM building one day in the early morning. He came in early to practice his dancing and rapping some more when he was walking through the hallways and noticed one of the rooms lit up with music softly playing through the door. Curious, he walked up to the door and opened it, wondering who else could be there that early in the morning. He was definitely surprised to see a girl passed out asleep on the floor next to the mirror in only a wifebeater and sweats. He recognized her to be Kyuhyun's foreign cousin and immediately went into the room to put something on top of her so she wouldn't get sick. He looked around and couldn't find her jacket so he instinctively took off his and put it on top of her upper body. He left before she could wake up but called Kyuhyun to tell him where she was. He was yelled at for not staying with his cousin so he immediately went back to see Lina awake and looking at the jacket with a confused look on her face. This was how they met.

How did you meet? Luhan and Lina met while she was walking around the building, looking at a piece of paper and trying to practice and learn Mandarin since she was so fascinated by it. Luhan noticed her terribly pronounced Mandarin and decided to follow her around, wondering where she was going. She still wasn't used to the building at the time and when he saw her about to run into a door, he ran forward and pulled her back against him, laughing. He was amused by her shocked state and introduced himself to her before letting her go.

Any ex-boyfriend? Lee 'Onew' Jinki | 23 | Idol (SHINee)

Why did you break up? They broke up due to Onew's growing busy schedule. The reason they fell for each other was because of their voices. But when Onew started to travel more and more, they decided to end it to save any possible future heartbreak. They were both understanding and eventually came to terms to just being good friends with each other.
