Background/History:  Nothing much really. Since a little kid her parents already taught her that she needs to be a role-model for others. And until now, she's still working her off to be the perfect daughter that every parent wants. At first, her parents didn't agree that she got through the SM audition. Her parents wanted her to be a doctor, because they believed that she got the brain and determination. But fortunately, she managed to persuade her parents. So, her parents agreed in one condition, if nothing works out she needs to be back at school and focused on medical school.

Description of being a trainee and how many years: Mei Lin is what you called a fast learner. She's good at copying every thing, from singing to dancing.
