Renee often described herself as easygoing, original and flexible. She is creative and good at imagining. She learned best through listening, then reflecting on and interpreting what she had observed. She can be very goal-oriented and often complete the ambitious tasks set before her. She's good at reading people and providing support. No matter who that people might be, she isn’t picky to help when she is needed.

trainee life:

Renee want to be something her life, she want people to remember her as someone. But what scares her is if she good enough. Despite of being alone after a tragic incident, she manage to pass the audition in her first trial smoothly. She is good in learning instrument and her rythm feel is great. Dancing is her thing and it make her feel confidence and happy. She did get bullied few times during her trainee days but it's not so serious and normal when teenagers got to live together at dorm.

Family Background:

Renee was born in an average family in Paju. Her father is a pure korean while her mother is a pure chinese. They met when her mother come to Seoul to find a better job, at that time her father woked at Seoul Post Station. After they got married, they went to her father's hometwon that is in Paju. 3 years afterward, they migrate to China because her mother been missing her family in China. Her parent then opened a  restaurant there. 

Renee knew her passion in dancing and performing since she was little. She always done performances at her parent's restaurant and even at street. When she was 16 she heard about SM Global audition in Seoul. She managed to persuaded her parent to allow her joining but with a condition. Her parent will go to Korea again, they never back to Korean after migrate to China. They were in Korea few months before SM audition. A bitter day came when her parent got killed in a tragic accident. The taxi they rode got hitted by a bus. She was at her aunt's house at that day, Practicing for the audition with her cousin.

They met at hospital. Renee went to the hospital after got called about her parent. Kai went to visit his uncle with his family. They were young at that time. Kai saw Renee cried so hard, he gave her his handkerchief and accompany her for awhile. Though it's kinda awkward, Renee feel better because of him. They then met again in SM Ent.
