black screen of death

so I went to update onber tonight, and was told I needed to restart so the windows blah blah, etc... so I restarted the laptop. now I only see the black screen of death. which means... dont know when I'll update next. gotta wait til payday to fix it since I'm computer dumb. T.T

I happened to me once, so I asked my friend to fix it, it k"̮ now. But u know what my friend didn't do anything , he just pluck out the battery for 1 night and than put it again.
